Very informative & accurate
WOW!! I am really impressed with all of the information that this scale is able to provide!! I feel like it’s very accurate!! You will need to download an app that communicates with the scale, but that’s where all of the vital information will be. It not only measures your whole body weight but it breaks it down by fat, muscle, water, and bone. It gives the breakdown of muscle/fat by area of the body as well. The app will save your data and compare it to past entries. I am willing to share a photo of the basic information that I received, but I feel like it’s a little too personal to share my entire chart. It’s super easy to use. Once you’ve linked the scale to the app, you stand on it holding the bar in your hands (it will tell you specifically how to stand), there’s a ding that let’s you know it started, then it plays a cute little jingle while it gathers information, when it’s done it will ding again, then you can step off and release the bar. The data comes up in very nice easy to ready charts & graphs. There’s a lot of information to digest!! It basically told me that I scored well but my butt is too big 😆, but I already knew that is where I hold my weight. If you just wanted your weight and not all of the extra stuff, you can just stand on it for that too. This scale is made of very strong, sturdy, and quality materials!! It is well constructed and doesn’t feel fragile or delicate. I still suggest handling it with care, but I think it will last a long time with frequent use. There are batteries included (4 AA batteries) but replacing them is easy. The LCD screen is bright and colorful. It has cute little messages too (see photos).I really love that my whole family can use this as well!! You can add several different users to the app, so that everyone can use it. This makes it very versatile!!Overall I highly recommend this well made scale that provides so much data and important health information!!I feel like the price is worth the abundance of information provided!!

A Scale for Data Lovers
If you just want to know your weight, this scale is probably overkill. If you love data (stats, percentages, trends, etc…) then you will love this scale. You will need the companion phone app to get the most out of this scale. I used the iPhone app with the scale. It was very easy to connect the app with the scale (blue tooth) and see all of my numbers. One concern I have is that even after reading the instructions, I am unsure how to calibrate the scale. The problem is that the weight of the handlebar and its spring tensioned cord retracting mechanism need to be zeroed out from the scale. Without calibration, the reported weight was different by about 0.8 pounds with another scale I own. That difference could just be the weight of the handlebar and the pull of the retracting mechanism. I tried putting the handlebar on top of the scale (like the instructions said to do) but the retracting mechanism kept pulling the handlebar off the scale. Other than that, weight measurements appeared to be consistent. All of the other measurements appear to be reasonable but I have no way of verifying the readings.I did like how the app was very informative. It helped me find a reasonable target body weight. I also liked how the app showed me how each measurement relates to health (thin, standard, high, too high). The scale appears to be well built, It is mostly plastic, looks very high tech, and I think it will stand the test of time.Overall, I like this scale and recommend it to any one wanting more information than just their weight.

Definitely more accurate than 4-electrode home scales!
Home smart scales sure have come a long way. They still use bioelectrical impedance analysis, a low electrical charge that travels from your feet and measures resistance to estimate body fat. The limited range up the body was likely a big reason for lower accuracy in older models. These newer types of smart scales have two different areas for electrodes to detect resistance, which helps improve accuracy. My older foot-only scale estimates my body fat around 19%, while this one estimates 21%, which is closer to what I actually look like.Once the app is set up, the scale is very easy to use. You don’t need to keep the app open after the initial Bluetooth connection. If you weigh yourself without your phone, it will sync and update the data the next time you open the app. I like that it’s truly hands-free and doesn’t rely on Wi-Fi.The app itself is fairly easy to use. Like most body composition scales, it shows a lot of data, a lot of information. It’s useful for tracking trends and progress over time. Just keep in mind that most values besides weight are estimates, and many are calculated from other data, so it’s more for general tracking rather than medical accuracy. The overall build quality seems good. My only concern is the strap on the handle. It doesn’t feel as durable as the rest of the scale and might fray over time, so I’d be a bit careful with it.Overall, I think it’s a great home scale.

A Reasonable Price for an Excellent Product.
I think this would be an excellent scale and I really wanted it to work for me. I’m very old and I think that was a factor in my inability to have the scale work with the body composition. I base this on the fact that I tried two scales and the same issue arose for both. The reports are seemingly amazing and thorough and I would have loved to use them as a consistent base for judging my progress. Since I don’t do DEXA scans, a consistent comparison is more important to me than a percentage of accuracy. Your mileage may vary but the seller’s response was excellent and allowed me refunds.
