Definitely worth buying!
I ordered these because I needed a lightweight pair of shoes to work in the kitchen. I had recently purchased the hey dude ones and was highly disappointed that they were not non-slip as described. I wore them to work today and I was highly impressed there was a puddle of water on my kitchen floor and I walked through it without slipping. I don’t recommend doing that but I wanted to test a theory. If you work long hours in a kitchen and you want a lightweight comfortable shoe that has a good non-slip grip at a reasonable price this is definitely the shoe for you If it’s comfortably and after wearing them for my first shift my feet are not sore.

These are my husband work shoes.. yes they are dirty and I was not about to clean them for the review lol.. they took quite the beating.. but they are still going strong.. he’s worn them almost every other day to work (meat department) for about 10 – 11 months.. the stitches are all intact.. the insides are as good as new (he put some insoles in for more comfort).. The soles don’t show much wear and they are great on slippery floors.. he says they are very comfortable and look much better than your average work shoes.. we just ordered another pair when they were on sale.. go get them!!!!

Backs breakdown easy.
I call these my faux dudes. So all in all they’re not bad. They’re comfy, more support than regular Dudes. Only a couple odd things. The backs don’t have much for support so if you are one that just slides in and our without holding the back, it will break down.. Quickly. And also, not sure if its just what I use.. But when it says no slip.. It means I-Will-Glue-Your-Shoe-To-The-Ground no slip. When mopping, depending on how long I’m on the wet floor, when I move to dry my shoe is pretty much screaming at me not to leave that spot. It became attached to it apparently. And I’m not sure if it’s just reacting with the chemical in the water (just a diluted multipurpose floor cleaner) or if it will do it in plain water too.. But all in all, definitely nice having these for work. I work housekeeping in a hospital so being able to just wipe stuff off and disinfecting my shoes is so nice and not having to worry about my feet getting wet.

Awesome kitchen shoes
I have only worn them a few times now but am happy with my purchase so far. I work in a kitchen with very messy individuals so I walk through various different items such as oil,water cooked Fry’s/none cooked Fry’s, noodles, waffle/pancake mix and whatever else we have in the menu. I have not slipped once as in the past I’ve slipped on almost all these items listed. My shoes do get dirty pretty fast and cake up a lot and I still didn’t slip. Bc I did whoever have to change the insoles and the shoes have zero ankle support. Anytime I slip on anything it hurts my ankle badly due to recurring injuries and inflation on my ankle along with my feet swelling. I typically am standing from 6 to 11 hours depending on my shift. I still have them 5 stars due to the not slipping on anything and the possibility that I have terrible ankles and feet so any shoe give me discomfort without special insoles and a ankle support wrap anyway. Size down if you have a narrow foot. I size up due to my foot swelling, along with it being wide and I still room for my foot to swell a bit more. Also, they are very much so oil and water resistant. So many reasons to enjoy these shoes for anyone who works in the restaurant business.
