Pretty smooth with two ropes, need wire cutter to trim
I just started doing jump ropes in Crossfit and loved a very expensive jump rope I borrowed from a friend but this one is VERY reasonably priced. It’s a good starter rope to get you used to what length you need, the rythmn, etc… it’s been working super good for me. It is relatively easy to adjust the length, although I am short so I also needed to cut the rope or too much was hanging off the handles and that really posed a problem since I couldn’t find a wire cutters!! After much sawing I finally got it.It does come with two sizes of rope, one is thin for if you want a speed rope, and the thicker one is mid thickness for a jump rope and just about right for most everyone. The handles are easy to manage but it definitely is NOT nearly as smooth as the very expensive one I had tried. However, it’s a good start and once I wear this one out I should know which version I want of a better rope. I do recommend it, just don’t expect the best. It’s great for the value!

Excellent jump rope after 1 month; Tail end of handle is hollow
Works great if you jump rope regularly. There is no slip on the rope so you don’t have to keep tightening the rope’s grip on the handle. This is a common problem with cheap jump ropes where you have to unscrew the handle and make sure the inside “rubber stop” hasn’t lost all the rope slack. The tail end of this jump shot is hollow, so you can keep the rope longer (instead of cutting off extra slack or folding it inside the handle). The extra rope will stick out, but it’s great if you share the rope with people who are shorter or taller than you.
