A good first layer
I bought these for a winter snow coach trip in Yellowstone. It was minus 22 degrees on the first morning. These provided a good, slim fitting first layer under my clothes. My body was plenty warm all day. I liked that the bottoms were form fitting and weren’t bunching up under my snow pants. The same with the top, since I wore several layers over it. By themselves, the top and bottom aren’t overly warm, but they aren’t meant to be worn without other layers, so it makes sense that they’re thin. They did a great job of keeping my core warm in very cold temps. Thanks!

Best Deal of the YEAR!
I bought 4 sets on Prime Day for about $15 TOP and BOTTOM. Even at the regular price (about $17) they are a huge bargain! They fit perfectly and the fabric is smooth so it’s easy to pull on a pair of jeans over them. They make great pajamas, too! I like them better than Cuddle Duds. And I LOVE the colors! BRILLIANT high tech warmth and practical comfort.

Lightweight, Layer-Friendly Warmth (With a Few Caveats)
If you’re looking for a thermal base layer that adds just enough warmth without bulk, this thermal underwear set (long sleeve + pants) delivers on most fronts — especially for layering under clothes in mild to moderately cold weather. I picked this up mainly to help stay warm during the colder months, and overall, it did exactly what I needed. However, there are a few important things to know before buying, especially when it comes to fit, fabric, and transparency. The Thermal Pants – Warm, But See-ThroughLet’s start with the bottoms. The thermal pants are thin and noticeably see-through, which makes them unsuitable to wear on their own — unless you’re lounging around the house and don’t mind. That said, they’re actually perfect as a layering piece under jeans, sweatpants, or snow gear. They’re lightweight and don’t bunch up, and they offer a nice barrier between your skin and the cold air.So yes, they’re thin — but effective. Just don’t expect them to double as leggings or standalone loungewear unless you’re in private or pairing them with long tops. The Long Sleeve Top – More Versatile and OpaqueThe long sleeve thermal top is a definite win. It’s not see-through, fits snug without being tight, and works great as a base layer or even on its own for indoor use or casual layering. It’s soft against the skin, breathable, and stretches well without losing shape. I found it especially helpful for layering under sweaters or jackets without adding any noticeable bulk.Warmth Factor – Good for Light to Moderate ColdThis set isn’t made for sub-zero temps on its own — if you’re going skiing, snow hiking, or spending extended time outdoors in freezing temperatures, you’ll likely want a thicker thermal or fleece-lined base layer. But for everyday use — commuting, layering under work clothes, lounging at home, or short outings — it adds just the right touch of warmth without overheating or feeling bulky. It’s best for:Mild to moderately cold climatesLight winter activitiesPeople who run warm and just need “a little extra”Wearing under fitted clothesFinal ThoughtsOverall, I bought this thermal underwear set to help stay warm without over-layering, and it absolutely did the trick. It’s not heavy-duty gear, and the pants are definitely not meant to be seen, but if you need a light, comfortable, and effective base layer, this set is a solid buy.Pros:Lightweight and great for layeringWarm enough for most casual cold-weather useTop is opaque and versatileSoft and stretchy materialBudget-friendlyCons:Pants are see-through — definitely underwear, not leggingsNot warm enough for extreme cold or high-exposure situationsIf you’re just looking for an added layer for warmth, this set works beautifully. Just don’t expect thick insulation — it’s subtle warmth, not thermal armor.

Impressive!
I was thoroughly impressed by these thermals. Layered them under ski clothes and they are soft, stretchy, and did the job. I layered up pretty well on top, but no more than I usually do and I definitely felt warmer than previous ski trips.

Not sized quite right, not fleece, but very stretchy–might be good under close-fitting clothing
Although this base layer set was very soft, it was not fleece, despite the title. In addition, the fit is just “off.” I ordered XXL to fit my 190-lb., 5’7″ frame. However, it is sized for someone with a very small head. I had to stretch the neck opening to get it over my head. Then it was tight around my neck, which is not particularly large. I kept tugging the neck all day.The fabric has 4-way stretch, but the whole thing feels ultra-elasticized instead of softly stretchy. It clings very tightly around wrists and ankles so that getting them off was a bit difficult. I had to sort of peel it off and top and bottom both turned inside out. The product itself fits kind of like a girdle–as if it’s main purpose was to hold in bulges rather than keep you warm. If you want to tame your bulges, this might be a good product under close-fitting clothers–but not for me.I bought 3 sets from 3 different manufacturers. This one was the least comfortable and the least warm under my clothing. Perhaps if I were much smaller it would have felt more cozy. However, I won’t be wearing it again soon. It’s too hard to get on and off. I may try to cut the neck hole so it is not so constricting. But then the waist is very elasticized, too.It looks well made. The fabric is substantial, but it is not meeting my needs.

Love them!
Ive ordered 4 pairs of these, I absolutely love them! They’re snug, so don’t order them if you don’t enjoy clothes that hug your body (regardless of the size)The material is so soft! Silky more like it.The neck is a bit high, and is definitely noticeable that it is there, but it is no where near constricting or tight (if you order the correct size)I ordered a medium and I am 5’3, 130 lbs. they fit wonderful! I also ordered a small, because I am normally small, but I noticed that they were TOO small, so the medium do beautifully!I love these! And will return to order the rest of the set once they come back in stock!!

Better inside than out
Love how thin they are, can put jeans over with no problem, they are not very warm though, I find myself using them more for pajamas, super soft and comfy, under clothes for warmth fine, outside you might want to stick to cotton
