Eco-Friendly and High-Quality
Great yoga mat! I tried the mat right away with an Ashtanga session and loved it! It feels natural, safe and eco-friendly, with no rubber smell even in child’s pose. It has excellent grip and cushioning, the thickness also gives great support, and it’s not too heavy compared to other rubber mats I’ve used. Also, customer service was excellent — they quickly sent the missing carrying strap. Fantastic value for the price. Highly recommended!

Great for hot yoga and more
I love this mat! I was looking for cork but with some cushion and this is it! I’m a very sweaty person and did a few hot yoga classes with it and haven’t slipped once. I’m fairly new to the practice so compared to other mats I’ve seen, this price point was very reasonable for me as a beginner. Although I don’t have much experience, I can confirm it doesn’t slide around and I don’t either! Also, no weird smell and is very easy to clean. I don’t use the yoga carrying strap but it does work. The mat itself is a good weight. Not feather light but definitely not difficult to carry or roll up. Im very satisfied with this purchase

Good quality mat, but missing the carrying strap
Nice quality; thick and comfortable, especially on the knees. It is heavy, but that is does not bother me. It is slip-resistant and size is just right. However, it only came with the bag, not strap. So trying to squeeze it back into the bag after class is an inconvenience.

As advertised, is a little heavy, but the grip and piece of mind knowing it’s sustainably sourced and not subjecting the user to harmful chemicals “outweighs” this downside.It just feels really good to use! Something about the cork just feels really nice! Plus the non-absorbing is great.Is a little longer too – if you are taller, you will love the extra length.

I love this mat. Itvlays completely flat, is non slip and doesnt get sweat on it. The alignment line is useful too. Thr mat is long and comfortable, very thick. Like some have said it is slightly heavier but not that much you cant carry it. Some have said they found it hard to get back in the bag, but I have found it easy. The bag is not waterproof though, so bear this in mind if walking to class. The carry strap is also useful and can be used for supporting poses. For some reason mine is black and not the cream pictured. You will not regret buying this.

I’m a petite woman, 5 2’’ and I can easily carry it to a class that’s a 15 minute walk away, and I’m pregnant so I’m already carrying some extra weight!Hands and feet don’t slip, the mat is a high quality, been using 4/5 times a week for the past month and it’s wearing well. Alignment mark is handy.Nicely padded so my knees feel protected and comfortable when I practice on a hard surface.Bag isn’t very practical as the mat doesn’t easily fit inside it, but the strap works perfectly well as a way to roll the mat up and carry it to and from classes.Highly recommend the purchase!

I did a lot of research on Cork yoga mats to decide which one was the best to buy. You have one big decision to make really on the base of the yoga mat:1. TPE base which is essentially synthetic rubber made from thermoplastic. It’s much lighter & cheaper than rubber but it’s thinner, less comfortable and in my opinion less environmentally friendly. These are the majority of cork yoga mats you see online.2. Natural rubber base: This is what this mat is made out of. It is heavier & more eco-friendly, it’s really comfortable and has great cushion. As it’s heavier and rubber, it doesn’t roll at the end and has incredible grip.If you don’t mind a slightly heavier mat, I would recommend a natural rubber base. The Ecoga mat itself is lovely. The cork is really fine, smooth and of fantastic quality. I really like the artwork also which matches the carry bag you get with it which is also a real bonus. Well worth paying that little bit extra!

Beautiful yoga mat made from all natural materials. Feels supportive and still gives enough cushioning if you have slightly sensitive knees, like me. It is a bit on the heavier side because of the rubber base but, on the other hand, the weight means it lays completely flat on surface and doesn’t bulge. The grip is also good, and the design lovely in an understated way, with a centre line which helps with positioning and alignment. I look forward doing my exercises on this mat in the morning. The added canvas carry strap and bag also come in handy. Recommended!

This is a great yoga mat for keeping at home as it is slightly heavier than most mats, but it’s so comfortable and the best I’ve ever used. It doesn’t slide around, or stretch when you put your hands near the corners. It’s like it’s glued to the floor. And their customer service is excellent! 👌
