Comes with excess length so I’m pretty sure even a 7ft person can use it without worry.

Inexpensive jump rope that tangles, but does the job
I have an expensive weighted infinity rope that is my go-to. Unfortunately, I can’t use it outside without risking damaging it. It’s also heavy and doesn’t work for speed exercises. As such, this speed rope was supposed to fit that gap.When I first got it, I was surprised that I needed to go through a series of steps to get started, like cutting off the ends, sizing it right, adding the ends, screw it down, and cutting off the excess wire. Honestly, it wasn’t that difficult, but a bit more tedious than I had planned.When I finally got it going, it worked well for the most part. It was light, but felt like strong wire. I had no issues, but eventually it would start to get tangled and become annoying to fix after I stopped jumping. Mid-jump, it wasn’t a problem, but the constant hassle became annoying (as shown in the pictures).If this was more expensive than $10, I would not recommend, but under $10, it’s worth it. Overall, it’s about 3.5 stars

Good budget option, feels pretty solidly built.
Not much to say about this one: this is a great speed jump rope option for the price (especially if it’s at a discount when you purchase it). It’s super light, the handles feel comfortable, and you can customize the length to fit you best. Mine doesn’t seem to tangle at all during use, which is great to keep the flow going. Overall, very good quality, good price. I could find faults in it if I wanted to nitpick, but for $6-7 (at the time of the review), then I can’t think of much to nitpick at. I would recommend this!

Great value for its price
At 6 feet tall, the length reaches my chest (when you step on it with two-feet and raise the two handles upward), which is perfect for me so I didn’t have to cut it, but if you needed to, it comes with its own L-shaped tool to untighten it and you will need your own wire-cutter to cut it. They include an additional yellow rope which you could use if you prefer either the color, or for a second person, or if you mess up. It is also about the same length as the one that comes pre-installed. If you are very tall, (like 6 foot 3 or higher), then the rope will likely be too short for you unless you are used to short ropes.For the price, I was pretty impressed. It didn’t feel cheap at all. The rope is pretty thin but yet feels pretty heavy which I like. This means it is less likely to snag on your feet because it’s thin, but still gives you a decent workout. I had no problem using it or even doing criss-cross jumps.

Smooth, Affordable Speed Rope with Great Accessories
I use speed ropes for double unders in CrossFit, and this one’s dual bearing system is nice and smooth. While I personally prefer the heavier handles on ropes like the RPM Session 4 or Original RX, this rope is unbeatable at this price point. It comes with two coated cables, an Allen wrench, and end caps so you won’t get scratched by the cut cable ends.Changing cables is quick and easy—much simpler than with my RPM rope. I’m curious to see how it holds up over time, especially since the screw on my RPM rope has loosened and flown off twice mid-workout. This isn’t as high-tech as RPM or RX, but with such a big price difference, it’s a fantastic budget-friendly option.

Lightweight and Easy to Use
I’m not a jump rope expert… I just work out here and there, but I’m happy with this jump rope. It comes with two cables and even a little tool so you can adjust or replace the cable, which I didn’t expect. It’s super light and swings easily.I’ve used the cable about 4 times. The instructions mention that in order to maintain the cable, you shouldn’t use it on concrete. That is my only option, and I have only noticed minimal scuffing to the cable, which I would expect.It comes with grip tape, so workouts with sweaty hands aren’t a problem.From what I can tell, a good jump rope should spin smoothly, not tangle, and feel comfortable to hold. This one checks all those boxes.Overall, it’s easy to use and feels sturdy.

Lighter than expected, but works well
This is a jump rope designed for speed. And, it does do that. I just wish that the cable was heavier. They are lighter in weight than my silicone-beaded jump rope, which I did not expect.The set includes two cables, each of which are long enough for a pretty tall person. At 5’6”, I needed to trim them down to size. Fortunately, the set comes with the allen wrench needed for the job. You will need something to cut the wire rope though. Mine arrived with the narrower and lighter black wire rope installed. I found the process of swapping the ropes out to the heavier one and trimming it to size (using the armpit measurement technique) to be pretty quick and easy. I like that they include a velcro strap to wrap it up for easy storage.The handles are pretty comfortable and the wire rope is attached through freely spinning ball bearings. So, they are fast. I just want a heavier gauge of wire rope with more mass to it, so I can get more of a workout with them.

Smooth Spinning Speed Rope
Ordered this to have a custom sized speed rope for metcon workouts that call for double unders. It’s easy to permanently adjust to your size, and comes with an extra replacement line. I’ve used it several times, and it feels and looks to be of high quality at this point.The bearings are very smooth. That along with the small wire rope allow you to spin it pretty fast without much effort. The handles feel good and are well sized.Best of all, it’s only $9 at time of writing this review. That’s about less than half what I paid for my last speed rope, and I can’t tell a difference in the quality between the two.
