Great Zabuton!
I have had several over time and I was careful to read about this zabuton product and read the reviews. Fast delivery and I thought it was an exceptional quality product. I purchased the large version and it was thick and comfortable along with being very well made. The cover was also of a heavy weight material that should last a long time. Very pleased so far with this item and the quick shipment!

Good Quality Zabuton
This is a small Zabuton, yet perfect size to travel with. The size is: 24″ x 24″ x 2″. There is an opening so . that the cover can be removed and washed in cold water. The outer cover is a heavy cotton duck material. The cotton batting within has a thin cotton cover that is sewn to keep it’s shape. It is good quality, natural and comfortable. Can’t say much more except I’m very pleased with this Zabuton in conjunction with the Bean Buckwheat filled Zafu.

Unhappy with Bean Products Customer Service
The zabuton is nice but I thought it would have been much firmer than it is, but I like it enough to keep. However, the cover was about 2.5″ – 3″ bigger than zabuton. I contacted Bean Products so they could send me the correct size cover but instead they want me to exchange it so that I can receive the correct cover for it, which should have been correct to begin with. Extremely unhappy with their customer service, and will never order from them again!

good cushion, but may be too narrow for taller people sitting in Burmese.
This cushion is well made. it’s very comfortable. the cover comes off easily for washing. I think it’s a great product, and recommend it highly.I do have one caveat for taller people considering this cushion — make sure to sit as you usually do and figure out if this 24″ cushion is wide enough to work for you. I am 6′ tall, and didn’t think to measure how much room I take up when I am sitting before ordering. I sit in Burmese, and I would have done better getting a zabuton that is rectangular rather than square. As it is, my knees are barely able to fit onto the cushion in Burmese. So if I had this to do over again, I would have gotten the Hugger Mugger Zabuton that’s a rectangular shape, so I’d not have to worry about it. As it is, I’ll use it as incentive to work my way into sitting in half-lotus more often, and again, this issue is no knock on the zabuton itself, which is great.

GOOD QUALITY — ATTENTION TO DETAIL
I ordered this product to be used for meditation. The item is exactly as advertised: 2” thick and 24” X 24”. The color of the cover is as pictured. I just opened the package and put the cover on, so I can’t speak to its longevity, but it appears to be well made; all seams are well-sewn. We’ll have to see how well it stands up to frequent use, but I imagine it will, based on the quality I see in the product.Be cautioned: even though the cushion measures out to the advertised dimensions, it is small. It appears to be adequate for my space and needs, but this is probably best for a small person, or as a travel zabuton. I do wish it were thicker, but, as I said, it seems adequate for my needs. I rated it a 4 for that reason.Shipping was prompt and uneventful; item arrived in great shape, folded, packaged in plastic, with a nice note from the company included. Knowing what this product is, I would recommend it to a friend with the caution that it is of smaller size. I would buy it again, if I needed one this size.Thanks, Bean!

Sturdy, comfy, and US made!
I was so happy to have found a U.S. made product for improving my meditation experience and I’m very happy with this zabuton. (My zafu is on the way!) I was a bit worried by some of the negative reviews here but I can’t relate to the issues mentioned. Mine came dry, clean, free of any odor, and indeed the right size for the sleeve.As for the details, the first thing I noticed was the weight and sturdiness of the mat. It feels heavy and solid in ways that I didn’t expect, so hopefully it’ll hold up over time.I also had a look inside at the cotton. It’s quite interesting as I’ve never seen cotton quite so… rustic before. Makes me feel a bit more “down to earth” when I sit on it, man.As for the size, I purchased the large size and I’m 6’3 and I’m happy to say that it feels just about right. When I sit in a Burmese posture my knees hang over the side just about an inch on each side, so it’s definitely a “snug” fit, but they’re definitely a few inches off the floor and so the mat is definitely effective.It’s also very comfy and my foot didn’t fall asleep in the Burmese posture either, which was the main reason I wanted a zabuton, so that’s excellent news!The only thing I envision having to worry about is my dogs trying to steal it in case I forget to put it away…

Perfect size, perfect cover!
Oh my gosh, this cushion is great! It is exactly as advertised, and delivery was amazing — carefully wrapped tightly in plastic to make compact, the dusty dirt roads were all over the outside of the box and the contents inside were totally clean (sometimes for me the packing tape rips in transit and things inside are slightly affected…!). The fabric is a sturdy yet soft canvas, and the cover is washable. I already have a buckwheat-hull zabuton, and I ordered this cotton one for travel (it’s way less heavy). Super comfy, I’m thrilled with my purchase. Highly recommend this product!!
