Just the right balance and design
I hoped this zabuton would support my legs, knees, hips, and feet without discomfort while I sit on my zafu for Zazen, and it really does. The balance of softness and support is perfect for me. I don’t have to change positions any more during my sit to alleviated pain or numbness. When I was younger, I had no problem placing my zafu directly on the floor or rug, but now that I’m older, this has changed. I love the kapok filler, which matches the zafu I’ve had for decades. The size and shape of this zabuton is excellent as well. It is beautiful, well made, and just what I needed. Very pleased.

Great addition to the cushion
I didn’t know if I needed this, but I’m really glad I got it. I like to sit on my knees with the cushion in between my legs and this is needed for my knees and for me to sit still comfortably. I will say it would be nice if there was stitching across the pad so the filler stayed put. if you pick it up on one side, it tends to fall to the bottom just a little bit but once you fluff it back up to make it even it’s not a problem. I got the extra large and I’m glad that I did as well makes me feel like there’s so much room where I’m sitting. I am 5’8 and if I sit in the middle, my knees almost reach the edges.

Awesome seller~quality zabuton
This zabuton is getting better every day. I initially was not happy due to lumps and not 4” and I reached out to the seller and she is so caring and kind and offered refund or exchange so that I might be happy with purchase. She truly cares. Today I washed the cover and fluffed the insert letting it air and sit out all day. What a transformation, it’s more comfy, full, the cover washed nicely with no shrinkage. I want to keep it! No exchange or refund necessary. It’s perfect! A+ quality, it’s from India and I can imagine the hands that thoughtfully crafted this beautiful zabuton. 🥰❤️ quite the journey from India to my meditation space. It’s a keeper 🙏💯❤️

Would recommend
I received the Maya Lumbini teal green mat to match my cushion. It is a great size and makes it more comfortable for sitting on the floor as it pads my ankles and legs. This is a big bonus for me as my floors are slate so in addition to padding it also provides some warmth too. The color is great and the craftmanship is of good quality. When I’m not using the mat the dogs find it comfortable too. I appreciate the videos you can watch further explaining the use of the Maya Lumbini products. I would recommend the purchase of this mat and the cushions.

Lumpy, uneven, thin
Last week I ordered the X-large mat, extra tall through Amazon. It arrived lumpy, thin, and the filling was uneven. It was definitely not 4 inches, as advertised. I thought I got a defective item so I returned it and ordered a large one. It came today and was exactly the same. This cushion isn’t even 2 inches thick. The outside fabric is good, but the fill is terrible.

Listen, this zafu and zabuton set are wonderful but I’d buy this set 100 more times because of the honesty and quality of the company.First, the product itself is outstanding. When they say “no back pain” they can stand by that. I have severe damage around my L5 and S1 vertebrae and deal with chronic, daily pain in my lower back. I didn’t think I’d be able to sit on this zafu for any length of time but I haven’t had any trouble sitting on this. If it wasn’t so difficult for me to get off the floor with my bad back I would use this zafu as my primary seat. It puts your spine in correct alignment and posture instantly.Additionally, the zabuton is great for preventing your ankles and knees from digging into the ground. My husband is 6’6 and he even fits on the zabuton just fine.Yes, my zabuton came with adhesive tape, which seemed like a poor choice. I was so unbothered by it that I bought a second set of zafu and zabuton for my husband.THE SELLER REACHED OUT TO ME and asked to confirm my shipping address because THEY found the tape unacceptable. They promptly sent me 2 brand new zabuton covers for free because that’s how much this company cares about their product and customer satisfaction. I genuinely could not be more impressed with their level of integrity and for that reason alone I would happily purchase from this company again!But also the zafu and zabuton are wonderful products so you should get them anyway.

Schnelle Lieferung und auch optisch sehr schön.Das Gewicht ist jedoch etwas schwer, deshalb zum Mitnehmen nicht wirklich geeignet. Auch nimmt die Matte beim Darauf-Sitzen nicht so schnell Wärme an, was beim Tragen einer dünnen Hose schon spürbar unangenehm werden könnte.Waschbar ist nur der Bezug.
