Bristles are not great for thick hair. Some bristles arrived bent and deformed. It does make hair feel soft when brushing but has to be done in small sections. Finish and color are nice.

My old brush was also a detangle but was ripping my hair out. This brush is awesome, my hair is fine and super dry as I go through menopause. Was a bit matted and was easily able to detangle super quick with minimal breakage. Highly recommend!
