Does it work on thick curly hair?
For best results, we recommend the TYMO AIRBEAM for hair types from straight to 3C curls. For very tight coils (4A-4C), our technology may not provide optimal smoothing.
Why does my hair get tangled, or why don’t I get a smooth/blowout result?
Prep is the key. Always start by fully detangling hair before styling. Then, work in small sections (under 2.36 inches wide) to allow even heat distribution and prevent snagging for a flawless finish.
Why does it automatically shut off?
Two things to check. First, unstable voltage from other high-power appliances (like an oven) can trigger the safety shut-off. Also, make sure the air intake screen near the bottom by the switch is clean—if it’s clogged, just give it a quick clean.

I love everything about this brush. Photo is a quick brush through on low heat that only took about 10 minutes. My roots were pin straight. I could probably have straightened from root to tip completely if I used high heat. It dries and stretches my hair so well I could literally go out without having to follow up with a straightener if I wanted to.The design of the brush concentrates airflow so that it dries quicker and more evenly with much less heat. Plus having a smaller barrel makes holding it much easier than a traditional thermal brush. My hand doesn’t cramp holding this.This is such an affordable, easy to use option in lieu of more expensive brands. And I absolutely love the temperature control placement. On my old thermal brush I was always accidentally sliding the switch up to high instead of low, but since this temperature control is a dial on the bottom of the brush, it’s impossible to accidentally change the temperature.

I love it! My daughter and I used this yesterday after a shower. I let 80% of her hair air dry first so it was damped and I applied argan heat protection oil and blow dry her hair with it. It got rid of her frizz immediately, super easy to handle. Did not burn her scalp. It was the right heat it dries her hair fast. The plug line did not tangle when I curved the brush so I like that it turns 360. On my hair I was able to get so much volume blow drying my crown area for my curtain bangs. My bangs were banging 😎😂 oh and we both have short to medium hair lengths with layers & curtain bangs!

Love this blow dryer brush. It’s lightweight and it doesn’t burn the hair. Great quality. Easy to use. Leaves my hair frizz free and shiny and so full.It does not make your hair flat. I had a blow dryer brush that left my hair flat and it would get so hot that it would burn my ear at times.One little nuisance I don’t like is the power button. If your hands are a little wet it’s a little challenging to turn it on. It’s located on the base of the handle. See picture attached. Other than that it’s great. I would definitely buy again.

It works so well! I have naturally curly thick and frizzy long hair. I used to hurt my arms trying to create enough tension to get it straight. This tool does it for me! I was able to dry it in less than 15 minutes! No more salon blowouts three times a week. That was getting expensive lol.

Fabulous Blow Dryer Brush
I received this dryer brush today. I don’t normally write reviews at all but I was honestly thoroughly impressed with this dryer brush’s performance. Note I am in no way affiliated with tymo and bought this brush myself.I have many similar brushes because I’ve been on a search for one that straightens my roots as well or even close to when I get a Dominican blowout but at the convenience of doing it at home, from the original revlon to the newest version of the revlon brush, 2 different versions of the l’ange blow dryer brushes, to the ghd duo blow dryer brush which leaves my hair very shiny but still cant get my 3c roots as straight as I would want holding the dryer brush at the root before pulling through the length of my hair.I have read other reviews that the tymo brush does not get very hot but I will tell you… it does and my hair cuticles comes out very smooth. Best part…. My roots are straight!!! And my hair came out very silky. I will say though that the harder bristles “plate” does shift a little sometimes snagging a strand or 2, and I wish the regular bristles were a bit thicker because some started to bend with the heat. However, this is not a deal breaker for me. I will be keeping this blow dryer brush. Tymo did good with this one with at a very reasonable price point. Love it and highly recommend.

Great blow dryer, not a volumizer brush.
I have mixed feelings about this blow dryer brush. I have very fine, thin hair. I am also suffering from hair loss and mechanical damage from the Revlon blow dryer brush and bleaching. After learning that a lot of my breakage was due to the Revlon brush (which I LOVED) I started searching for a healthier alternative. This seemed promising. However, it does not give the same volume, shine, or smoothness that the Revlon brush did. I got almost no lift and these photos are with both root lifter and Bumble & Bumble thickening spray. It also does not leave the hair shiny and smooth like my Revlon brush did. It seems like I have tons of fly aways and the hair just doesn’t keep shape like it does with the Revlon brush. That being said, this is the fastest blow dryer I’ve ever used. For my hair type the cool setting is recommended, but that did not work for me. I don’t think it would dry anyone’s hair on that setting. I use the low setting and it’s super fast. I also watched dozens of videos that showed people using it to curl their hair. I tried several times and it never curled my hair at all, so I don’t think that it works for that either. I do see a lot of hair in the brush after using, so it does seem to pull a bit. As far as long term hair health we’ll just have to see if it does better. Overall it’s a good blow dryer and maybe better for your hair than the Revlon but it definitely doesn’t give the same results. I’m going to continue using it in hopes of healthier hair.

Je suis vraiment impressionnée par cette brosse ! Honnêtement, je ne m’attendais pas à un aussi bon résultat. J’ai toujours eu de la difficulté avec les lisseurs traditionnels (je n’arrive jamais à bien les utiliser), mais avec cette brosse, c’est complètement différent.Elle est très facile à manier, intuitive, et le résultat est beau en un rien de temps. Mes cheveux sont bien lissés, doux et avec moins de frisottis, sans avoir l’air trop « plats » ou abîmés.Ce que j’aime particulièrement :Elle est simple à utiliser, même pour les débutantesLe temps de coiffage est vraiment réduitLes cheveux restent naturels et brillantsMoins agressive qu’un fer plat selon mon expérienceJe suis sincèrement surprise de la qualité et de l’efficacité.
