Can I sleep in Avant Guard?
We recommend using Avant Guard for shorter term bursts of occlusion to help enhance product absorption and increase skin hydration. We don’t recommend you wear this mask for more than 8 hours though.

I’ve been keeping my eye on this amazing brand on TikTok, but I wanted the convenience and security of Amazon. I’ve been waiting for it to be available here for ages. So glad to see it’s finally offered on Amazon. The quality is excellent as expected. These masks are thin and lightweight but durable, and comfortable. They come in a few different sizes to better suit your face. I let my skincare sit for 30 minutes before removing, and my skin is still damp after, so it’s effective at doing its job. It’s more expensive than some of the other ones you see on Amazon, but I trust this brand and I don’t take risks when it comes to what I’m putting on my face.

Makes sheet masks so much easier to use
My sister told me about this mask actually. I’d ordered a different kind before but I have some sensory issues and it was way too uncomfortable.I got this in the big size even though I swear my head is normal. 10/10 I can keep this guy on for an hour, easily.Even though it is a little loose at the sides, I actually prefer it since I know it won’t be tugging on my ears.I wash with water after use and hang to dry on a little hook I set up outside my bathroom door.It also helps with sheet masks. It helps the serum stay in place without dripping down my chin!

After stumbling down several sheet mask internet rabbit holes, I tripped and fell into one where I allllllmost bought myself a sheet mask maker – then said wait slow down queen, that’s crazy.For those unfamiliar, the brand itself is high quality. Available at Sephora, etc. I happened upon this mask on the brand site, and amidst my self inflicted knowledge injury of cheap sheet mask knock offs with bacteria and then the inevitable sad sad thoughts of possibly not using sheet masks again : I seeeeeent it! The green glow of a custom reusable sheet mask?! Yes!I did get it from the devil here cause shipping is faster (what’s a warrior to do?)Quality ✅ – not crazy thick, but thick like the good kind of corn casserole. It holds up and doesn’t fall apartVersatility ✅✅ – whatever serum/moisturizer you want to use = the type of mask that dayComfort ✅✅✅💯 – no lie, I was worried the ear part would annoy me, but it felt fine! I was like basically forgetting I even had it on!….until I looked in the mirror and died laughing. As someone who uses literally any and all crazy devices, I will say this one might top my list of making me the funniest lookingOverall, I normal cannot stand the way reusable silicone face products feel. They’re normally thick and heavy, and this is neither. And I’m waaaaay too much of a bacteria to face germaphobe to not store it in something. So 1 star off for that. Delicate but worth while!
I’ve only used once but so far so good. I have been using the silicone, reusable eye masks for years and love them so I wanted a full face version.Word of caution: be careful when handling. It arrived folded and stuck together and the rubber is so thin. I can see how the other reviewers have torn theirs if moving to quickly.I got the smaller size and very glad I did, I can’t imagine how big the other one must be. The way my face is shaped, the mask is snug against my forehead and cheeks but does not contour my nose.Overall it gets the job done.

Could have been really great…
Great idea, but horrible execution. I thought that the good reviews would outweigh the bad, knowing the material could snap if you pull to hard, I thought that maybe some reviews didn’t have the right size or maybe pulled the elastic band beyond what it should have been – ya know, the benefit of the doubt.First couple times I used it – loved it. I loved the sustainability aspect and how it held my products close to my skin, allowing my face to soak it all up. But then the elastic band snapped – and I had barely tugged it. So I tied it and figured, “well that sucks, but it can still be used!” Then it snapped again.I understand the material is not the best and it’s priced low for a reason, but I really thought it would have been a bit more durable given the fact that I was pretty gentle with it. I have to throw it away, which is a bummer, but maybe someday it will be remade but stronger. Would not recommend.

Awesome silicone sheet.
Great silicone sheet. I am very satisfied. It fits perfectly.I was looking for a silicone sheet to apply on my face to help with scar reduction and to keep serums in place longer and this works. I even sleep with it on my face overnight and it stays in place.I am very happy with it.

UPDATE FROM ORIGINAL REVIEW: Since I originally reviewed this product I have gone through 3 different masks. The earloops are straight up trash. All 3 masks’s loops ripped. I even tried to repair two of them with silicone glue and that worked for a while but the third mask just had another loop rip. I’m done. They can try again. Even if the mask has to be thin, why do the earloops have to be even thinner and with the swirly design? This is just simply dumb.OK so reusable face masks have not yet been perfected, we know this; however, where it currently stands I do believe this is the best one available on the mass market. It should be thicker, I don’t know why they aren’t, but I’ve attempted to use several of these before landing on this one and like I said before, this is by far the best one thus far in time.
