Good product

Good product
I purchased this mini exercise bike following knee replacement surgery to help with my post-op recovery. This is an inexpensive yet effective way to help get low impact exercise at home either for rehab after surgery or for maintaining mobility. The tension can be adjusted. It is lightweight yet sturdy for what I needed. My husband had it assembled easily within a few minutes. It does not slip, however, a strap and non-slip mat are included if needed to prevent it from slipping when it is being used. I’m glad I purchased it and will continue to use it even when my recovery is complete. It was a good value for the money.

    Received yesterday.
The mini exercise bike was quick and easy to assemble. The pedal and motor part of the device can feel a little wobbly, and maybe needs some WD-40, but it works fine.
It was such an easy addition to our daily life. It felt like we had always had this little exerciser.
I originally looked into other under desk elliptical/steppers, but I did not want ones that automatically moved. I really appreciate the simplicity and accessibility of this device.
All in all, it does what I was looking for: a simple exerciser for circulation and to encourage more activity while watching tv. It’s so easy to sit down and start pedaling away. I think if you’re looking for an intense exercise or strong resistance, this is not the machine for you.

    Works great for my wife.
    Note ,she is 115 pounds.
    Max weight maybe 140pounds.
Heavy use by a bigger person bolts will come loose.
There should be a weight limit.

I wanted to use this while working at my desk but it sits too high up so my knees hit the desk when peddling. I'm not especially tall, 5'5" so I don't think that's the issue. Otherwise it works fine and provides a decent workout. I'm just disappointed it won't work for what I intended.

Assembly instructions basically nonexistent. I am a visual learner, and the 39-second Amazon video was of some help. An explanation video for actual use of the product indicated that a gripper mat was included with the product, but wasn’t in the package I received. The purpose of the purchase was for use in prescribed home physical therapy and the assembly for me was a bit difficult. It seems to be an effective, useful piece of equipment, though.

Good for rehab after total knee replacement

Reviewed in Australia on August 14, 2025

The media could not be loaded.

I had a total knee replacement 4 weeks ago and I use a pedal machine that looks very similar to this at my physiotherapy gym and I wanted one for home. This is okay but it feels very cheap and clunky in comparison. It’s a bit noisy. It rattles. I try tightening the top handle for more resistance and nothing happens. There is no way i could use this with my sneakers on. I just use it with socks and it feels fine. I alternate between going forwards and backwards and it feels like it’s loosening up my knee “motion is lotion”. I think it’s expensive for what it is and would not recommend. It did not come with instructions though was easy enough to put together except we have some parts left over. I also have an electric pedal machine that you just rest your feet on and it does the work for you but I don’t like it as much as the foot pedals. They seem to give a better rotation and the electric machine is more like an elliptical. For total knee replacement rehab I believe the recumbent bike is the gold standard and a set of manual pedals.
