its very small light and easy to use. It may not measure t the exact era but very close. I am only going t use it a couple times a month, a series baker may want something more expensive, but this works great for casual use. And it came with the batteries .

I’ve been using this food scale for about five months now and it’s become one of those kitchen tools I didn’t know I needed until I had it. The stainless steel surface makes cleanup super easy. My old scales I’ve had for years, use a button battery and only go up in increments of 5, so already this one is a huge step up from that.These scales are compact, easy to clean being all on one plane with a smooth surface, use two AAA Batteries (supplied – another positive) and are sensitive, with the ability to actually go up in increments of 1. Comparing with my previous scales, bearing in mind the old ones were fairly inaccurate, these scales definitely seemed to be accurate – certainly accurate enough for my use. The instructions do state that it is possible to recalibrate them, but you need to contact the seller for instructions for this.I had two concerns with them. Firstly as you are measuring something out – ie, you’re adding whilst measuring, the digits on the screen flicker so that it is very difficult to see what number they’re at – realistically the only way to measure would be to add a bit, stop, check the display, then add more if needed (short video included). Notwithstanding that, the backlit screen is easy to read once the digits have stopped “moving”.My second concern is that the whole item IS the scales, therefore, if you press any of the buttons, for example for the tare feature (zero’ing whilst something is on the scales), or changing the unit being used, the act of pressing the button places weight on the scales. It doesn’t seem to affect it – it still zeros correctly, but it is a concern.

This is a really nice, quality item. It arrives nicely packaged and includes the AAA batteries you need to power it. A note on the batteries – my previous set of scales used a CR ‘button’ type battery which always caused an issue in that I would have to order a new one when the last one failed, with the AAA, they are much easier to source which is so much more convenient when you’re trying to weigh the dog’s breakfast in a hurry.The scale has a lovely, high quality look and feels so much nicer than the black plastic one it replaces.It also has a backlit LCD display which is fantastic on these dark Scottish mornings when you’re used to squinting at a non-lit screen when trying to measure the aforementioned dog’s breakfast.At the current price (£12.99), I think this is excellent value and I wholeheartedly recommend these.

I’ve been using this kitchen scale regularly, and it’s proven to be a solid, no-fuss tool. It’s small enough to keep on the counter or slide into a drawer, yet it handles up to 33 pounds without issue (not tested, but rather the manufacturer’s claim as most I’ve put on it was 4 pounds). The readings have been consistent whether I’m weighing coffee, flour, or produce, and the one-gram precision seems accurate. The stainless steel top feels sturdy and is easy to clean. I like that the buttons have a physical click instead of touch controls, which makes them easier to use when my hands aren’t perfectly clean. The backlit display is bright and clear, and I can still read it even when a larger bowl partially covers the front. It runs on two AAA batteries, which were included, and the auto-off timer isn’t too quick, so it doesn’t shut down mid-task. I really like this set of scales. It is also of course nice and compact, so it does not take up much space in a cupboard.I also like that it comes with two AAA batteries rather than the larger watch batteries that so many scales use. AAA batteries are easy to find and last a lot longer, so it feels much more practical.Overall it is a solid, reliable scale for cooking, baking, or meal prep and it even comes in a box which makes it nice for gifting.
