Why This Jump Rope Actually Helps You Lose Weight
You’re not lacking willpower. You’re lacking a rope that tells you how many calories you’ve really burned.
Most jump ropes only count skips. But burning 200 calories at 120 lbs vs 160 lbs is completely different. So is jumping fast vs slow. If your rope ignores these factors, you’ll never know if you’re making progress.
The ACHDOFITS 3rd-gen calorie algorithm factors in your weight, duration, reps, and intensity. Real-time calorie tracking means you know exactly when you’ve hit your daily target.
4 Modes for Every Stage of Your Fitness Journey
Freestyle Mode – Jump freely, it tracks everything automatically.
Timer Mode – Perfect for HIIT: 30s sprint / 30s rest.

Know Your Real Calorie Burn, Not Just Jump Counts – Most jump ropes only count skips, but the same 1,000 jumps burn very different calories depending on your weight, speed, and intensity. This jump rope actually calculates your calorie burn in real time using weight, duration, reps, and intensity. Set your goal, and the handle vibrates when you hit it. No guessing, no overthinking — just real data that helps you lose weight.
No More Tangling, Tripping, or Hurting Your Shins – Light PVC ropes tangle easily, spin poorly, and sting when they hit your legs. Our rope features a 7×7 steel wire core (49 strands) wrapped in durable PVC — it swings with stability, doesn’t curl up, and hurts less on accidental contact. The custom high-speed bearing delivers up to 3000 RPM for a smooth, effortless spin every time. You won’t get frustrated after 30 seconds.
Won’t Bulk Up Your Calves or Hurt Your Knees – Worried about getting bulky legs or sore knees from jumping rope? Heavy ropes force your calves to overwork. Our handle weighs only 170g (about 6 oz) — light enough to reduce lower leg strain, yet stable enough for fast spins. The low-friction bearing also means you don’t have to swing hard, saving your joints.
Start Small and Actually Stick With It – The hardest part isn’t jumping — it’s starting. That’s why we included a “Freestyle” mode with zero pressure: just jump and it tracks for you. There’s also a “Calorie Goal” mode where you set a small target, like 50 calories (about 5 minutes), and feel a satisfying vibration when you’re done. Leave the rope next to your TV. See it, jump for two minutes. Small wins keep you going.
What Makes This Different From a Jump Rope – A basic rope fakes calorie data (just rep count × fixed formula), tangles every minute, needs tiny coin batteries, and slips out of sweaty hands. This one uses a true multi-factor calorie algorithm, Type-C charging (lasts weeks), a full non-slip textured grip, and a no-cut, one-slide length adjustment for the whole family.

Great Rope!!!!
Simple, right to the point type of rope. Easy to set up, charging lasts a long time, even with a daily jump. Great product over all. Just be careful with the button while jumping if you push it down for too long it will reset(keep your thumb beneath it)

I was kindly gifted this ACHDOFITS skipping rope and it’s a great addition to home workouts. The built-in counter is surprisingly accurate and helpful for tracking progress, including calorie estimates. It’s lightweight, adjustable and comfortable to grip. The rope moves smoothly, making cardio sessions more efficient and enjoyable.

This skipping rope feels well made and the cable is very durable. It is easy to adjust to suit different heights of user. It is USB-C rechargeable and has a long standby time. I’m new to skipping and haven’t used all the features yet, but like that you can focus on keeping your skipping going rather than counting how many you’ve done!

This is a USB-C rechargeable smart jump rope designed for fitness and home workouts. I ordered this to help track my cardio, and the accurate built-in counter is excellent for monitoring my progress without having to count in my head. The clear and bright digital display makes it very easy to see my stats, and I love that it has multiple workout modes to keep my training varied. The rope itself is durable and well-made with a steel wire core, yet it remains lightweight and adjustable for different heights, which is a great feature for the price. It is also very fun. However, since there is no padding on the handles, they can feel a bit slippery if your hands get sweaty during a long session. I also found that switching between workout modes can be a bit unintuitive at first until you get the hang of the buttons. The cable has a plastic cover which adds some extra weight that might not suit everyone’s jumping style. Counter is not always accurate. Overall, for a long standby time and a solid build, it is a very good value fitness tool.

The biggest problem I had with this skipping rope was getting used to the plastic covered cable. The extra weight just didn’t work for me, so in the end I swapped out the cable for rope. The overriding benefit of this setup is the ability to skip without counting, I like the idea of exercising and seeing how I got on without pushing myself, just progressing without setting goals, I know that is the exact opposite of regular goal driven exercise but that’s how I am.

This skipping rope is fantastic if you’re someone who gets distracted easily and loses count of how many jumps you’ve done. One setting counts rotations, while another also allows you to set a timer, so you can try to beat your previous result. You can also program your weight into it, which helps to count the number of calories burned. It comes with a USB-c charger cable and a simple instruction booklet. You need to thread the steel cable through the handles and adjust it to the correct length, then you’re good to go. It’s easy to adjust for people of different heights, and the digital screen is clear and easy to read. The rotation count seems to be pretty accurate, and although there’s no padding on the handles, the grip is comfortable. Well worth it for the price, too.
