A High Quality Purchase For the Regular Practitioner of Meditation
I am very pleased with this two cushion meditation set. The large is plenty large enough for most people. I am 5’11” and 185 lbs and it is overkill for me but extremely comfortable. I have much less stress and strain while sitting cross-legged trying to meditate and feel I could sit in this position for hours with this set.Please note that the Zafu (small, round top cushion) is filled with Buckwheat hulls and the Zabuton (large, square bottom cushion) is filled with Kapok. In my humble opinion both of these fills are superior to the cotton or micro-fiber fill you see in similar cushions and well worth paying the extra dollars.The stitching on my set appears high quality. It is tight and can find no visible materials gaps or runs between the stitches meaning the fill stays inside the cushion. I had a little concern at first that the Zafu may have been over-filled potentially leading to popped stitches or possible a zipper failure when sitting on it but so far there has been no sign that this will occur.

These are great, perfect for sitting at length. I found that I didn’t have to take any filling out of the zafu to make it comfortable. Initially I thought the handle on the zafu was a silly idea, but in fact it’s pretty useful. In all, a very nice set that I expect to use for years to come.

Cushy Zabutan w Firm Zafu
The quality of this cotton set is very nice for the price. I bought black, bc well, I love everything black, and it does not pick up lint– stays clean looking. I got the kapok filling which is thick and plush. That was important to me bc I did not want a heavy mat and I have knee and hip issues so kneel while meditating.The Zafu is very high and firmly stuffed w buckwheat. This works GREAT as the main/only cushion for kneeling. At retreats I usually use two thinner cushions, one solid cotton/kapok, one buckwheat that’s more loosely filled. I find just this one is great for kneeling. It’d be way too high for cross legged position, but you could get a second zafu cover and split the buckwheat.There is a small zipper under a carry strap from which you can pour out some buckwheat to make it to your desired softness. There is NO INNER LINING (So you can’t really wash the cover (unless you poured out all the buckwheat, which is possible, I suppose! This is the ONLY drawback to the set; if the Zafu cover was removable and washable it’d be “perfect”. )I love this set– it makes me happy to sit!

Like the title says–Great product, fast shipping. I’m very satisfied with my experience with this vendor. No problems. The zafu may be a little big for me but I think I can chalk that up to buyer error/inexperience.

The quality is good, however
The quality is good, however, their “Olive green” and “Sand” look exactly the same color. I wanted something that was more of a cream color. When I emailed them, they wanted me to take a picture to show them that they sent me the wrong color. On camera the colors look exactly the same.

Big Man Meditates!
I’m a large man, over 350 pounds. This set of cushions got me off a chair and on the floor for my meditation. The zabuton provides great cushion for my knees and the zafu fully supports my spine. The product literature says it is like sitting in sand, spot on! The cover for the zabuton cleans up like a dream in the washer (I have three cats that are magnetically drawn to the cushion so clean up is a must). The shipping was fast and all in all I am SATISFIED!
