Painful pressure point between 1st and 2nd toe – no compression or padding
Unless you have small, finger-like toes, don’t buy these. But either way, these are not well-designed, and I don’t recommend them. The reason I got these was because they said they are padded and I thought the padding plus the grippiness would make walking around the house barefoot with hard wood floors more comfortable. But these aren’t, in fact, padded. Those grippy dots are the “padding”. Misleading. These are supposed to be compression socks, but they are loose and offer no compression. The only thing that’s tight on these is the one place that shouldn’t be. The big toe is separated from the rest by a thin piece of material that cuts in. I can barely get my big toe through, it’s so tight. When I do, it puts a tremendous amount of painful, concentrated pressure in between the 1st and 2nd toes. So much so that I can only leave these on for a few minutes before I have to take them off. I wear a women’s size 7, so according to the size chart, I should have been in the middle of the range. These are completely useless to me unless I can modify them in some way, and even so, these do not offer compression or padding like they say. Disappointing.
Just-Saying –
Not totally sold on these
The product description makes many claims that I can’t verify or deny. Let me tell you what I’ve experienced firsthand. The size chart indicated I should get the size small/medium. I decided to get the large/x-large. Glad I did. The big toe section is quite tight/small for me. Definitely wouldn’t want it any smaller! The material that separates the big toe from the rest, is surprisingly comfortable. Normally, I can’t wear thong style flip flop shoes because of the toe separator hurting. Except for the big toe section being kinda tight, the rest of the sock is pretty good. The grippy bottom bumps offer really good traction. I wonder if those little traction bumps are what they mean by the socks having silicone padding. I detect no silicone on these socks other than the little bumps. I don’t know how these socks offer support or helps with balance. They seem to protect the feet from blisters, friction, etc. just like wearing any normal sock would. The main difference I can see is these are tighter. Maybe I’m missing something here. They say you can wear these under your regular socks. Maybe. But unless your shoes are big enough to accommodate wearing 2 pairs of socks at the same time, it’s one pair or the other, not both. Having open toes is kinda nice. I can’t wear tight socks with toes without getting ingrown toenails.Something I really don’t care for is the white lettering on the socks. I took a black permanent marker and colored over the letters. They still show, but not so much. That’s just my preference. You may not care and that’s perfectly okay.Overall, these “copper compression silicone padded yoga socks” appear to be durable, non-slip, and feel somewhat comfortable. The rest of the claims are still up for debate.

Compression socks
I got the Copper Compression Silicone Padded Yoga Socks for Women – Non Slip Grippy Socks with Big Toe Holes for Pilates, Pure Barre, Dance, Ballet, Pregnancy, Hospital, Extra Grip, Safety & Comfort – S/M. I wear a women’s 7.5 and the S/M fits pretty well. I’m not sure I like the sectioning of the big toe. It isn’t too tight on my big toe, but I don’t like how the seam between my toes feels.I ignore most of the health claims of these socks. I like compression socks sometimes, but I believe compression is the only health benefit of these. These do have a very grippy bottom (making them not good for ballet), which is nice for ensuring I don’t slip when wearing just socks around the house. These aren’t particularly soft or anything. Without the weird sectioned big toe, I’d probably like these okay as grippy compression socks, but I can’t see myself pulling these out of the drawer often.

Copper-infused socks relieve your aching feet
The compression socks from Copper Compression seem to work pretty well. I initially thought they were too small, because the opening for the big toe felt like it was going to lop off my toe. Over time, the socks seemed to adjust to my feet and they were more comfortable. (No, it wasn’t because my toe got so numb that I couldn’t feel it anymore.)The socks were pretty comfortable. My feet were pretty sore when I tried these the last time, and they started feeling better pretty quickly. I am fortunate in that copper compression products like knee braces really ease my aches. However, some people do not react as well to copper compression products as others do. If you are one of the lucky ones, I’d give these socks a try.

Toe cutout is painful and no compression
Copper Compression Silicone Padded Yoga Socks – Gel Heel & Ball of Foot Cushion Socks for Pilates, Pure Barre, Dance, Ballet, Pregnancy, Hospital, Plantar Fasciitis, Foot Pain Relief & Comfort. I got the large/x-large and the toe cutout is way too small for me and quite uncomfortable. These also do not have any compression, they fit just like a regular sock. There is not ankle support or anything to them. These don’t do anything for me.

Grippy, supportive, temperature regulating
These are grippy and supportive, and I prefer them to full grippy socks because they stay put and don’t move during a yoga session, perhaps because of the open toes? The last few times I wore yoga socks, I had to adjust the socks a few times after they became twisted around my foot, but that’s not the case with these. There’s a little getting used to the big toe being separated from the rest of the toes, but that was only momentary for me. I also like the temperature regulation of having part of my feet bare, and my toes are apparently better grippers than I had previously thought since I don’t slip around the mat all with these on.
