Strange leaking substance and odor after using and rinsing out. It happens while drying
I love the size and flexibility but there is something that causes an orange colored dripping from the top rim that then looks like rusty water while it is drying. It then has a strange smell to it also. Every time I use it this happens while it is drying. The water going in is totally clear but then this substance leaks out from the top rim. Wondering if it’s the insulation products ? I can wipe it out to dry and rinse it and the next time it happens again .

Our perfect tub for camping trips with the kids
Finally we have a “pool” for our kids when we go camping. Summer camping in the outdoors has just gotten a lot cleaner and less smelly by the end of a hot day. This portable step-in bathtub is the perfect addition to our camping trips. It folds together nicely and fits easily in the car for any camping trip. After a long day hiking through the outdoors, while the adults relax around the firepit, it gives the kids an opportunity to have some save fun while getting cleaned up. Filling up the tub in the morning before a hike and covering it with a small tarp, it heats up nicely throughout the day to have the perfect temperature by day’s end.A couple of things to consider. The tub has a comfortable software bottom and nice soft sides. Placing it in the outdoors you do need to product it from sharps so that it doesn’t get puncture holes. What we have turned to are soft plastic playmats the kids used when they were younger. They are 1.5 foot square, so four put together is the perfect size for the tub to rest on. Additionally, make sure that you place it on even ground. Otherwise, the water weight will quickly deform your tub and push on the downhill sides.The tub comes with a small patch kit in case of puncture holes. Should you need more, any vinyl repair kit should come in handy.While the tub is a good size for allowing a single adult to use comfortably, it can easily accommodate two or three younger children. When you are ready to pack things up, you have a side outlet as well as a bottom outlet. I found it easiest to first drain the tub through the side, and use the bottom drain once most of the water is drained and you can lift the tub to ensure draining the remaining water. Finally, you can turn the tub up-side-down to let it dry out before folding it together.Unfortunately, the tub did not come with a carrying bag or even straps to hold it together when folded. This would help tremendously with the portability factor. Therefore, my recommendation is to find a large enough wheeled duffle bag to hold the tub. It makes carrying and storing a lot easier.

Disaster all around
On the very first use noticed a small leak coming from one of the floor standing bars. 2nd use, the leak was bit worse. 3rd use was just sitting in the tub, heard a noise and the entire seam outside of the tub busted open. This bathtub was a disaster on all levels and got my money back.
