It’s actually 74 ounces of you fill to the top. I love the two handle types as well as both straw and sip. It’s helped me keep track of my waist intake and goals. The handle feels nice and sturdy. I’ve zero complaints.

Good gym water bottle!
Bought this big water bottle to take with me to the gym. It definitely hold A LOT of water since it holds up to half gallon. I like that it has a sturdy handle on it so it make it easier to carry. It also comes with non-detachable strap in case you want to hang it on an exercise machine in case you don’t want to put in on the floor. The water bottle gives you the option to either, drink from the pull-up spout or (if you’re a heavy gulper) a larger drinking hole to drink from. When I took it out of the shipping package, I quickly noticed the nice, smooth, satin type of finish as opposed to the basic hard plastic of a plastic water bottle. The water bottle has an interior straw that attaches to the inside of the bottle that assists in funneling the water to the drinking spout but you can remove it if you are only going to use the larger drinking spout. By removing the straw, that’s one less thing you have to clean. The inside of the water bottle lid has an O-ring which will provide an air-tight seal. Just make sure to remove that from time to time to clean it. Those can get moldy if you don’t wash them. Some O-rings have a pull tab which makes them easy to remove. This one doesn’t so removing it can be quite the challenge. Don’t try to remove it with the tip of a knife like I did with my previous water bottle’s O-ring. You’ll end up damaging the air-tight seal…like I did. The water bottle also has a milliliter/ounces indicator at the side of the bottle in case you want to monitor the amount of liquid you want to put in or drink. This water bottle will not maintain cold water for long. You’ll have to unscrew the lid and add a bunch of ice if you want the water to remain cold for a few hours. Luckily, the lid has a pretty big mouth. I was pleasantly surprised to see that the water bottle also came with a long cleaning sponge that allows you to really get the inside of the water bottle nice and clean. All in all, it’s a pretty decent water bottle especially if you’re not looking to spend $45+ for one of those name brand, aluminum water bottles.

Practical Outdoor Bottle with a Handy Built-In Handle
I picked this up for our outdoor activities, especially camping, fishing, and kayaking, where having a larger water bottle is nice so you’re not constantly refilling.Overall, this is a solid half-gallon bottle. The biggest positives for me are the large capacity, the built-in handle, and the 2-in-1 lid design. I like that it gives you two drinking options: you can use the straw or drink directly from the wide-mouth opening. That said, I do think the wide-mouth opening is a little smaller than I expected, so while it works fine, it’s not quite as open as some other bottles. The handle makes it easy to carry, and the bottle feels sturdy overall in hand. The measurement markings on the side are a nice touch too, especially if you’re trying to keep track of water intake throughout the day.One thing I did notice when it first arrived was a slight plastic smell. It wasn’t terrible, but it was definitely there. After washing it with soap and warm/hot water, the smell went away, so that ended up being a non-issue.The main thing to understand with this bottle is that it is not insulated. For some people that won’t matter, but we tend to like our water cold, so for our use this will probably either stay in a cooler or get loaded up with ice before heading out. That’s not really a knock against it since it’s not advertised as insulated, but it is something buyers should keep in mind.Obviously, at this size, it’s also not going to fit in cup holders, but that kind of comes with the territory for a half-gallon bottle like this.Overall, I think this is a good option if you want a large-capacity water bottle for outdoor use, and as long as you understand what it is — a big, practical bottle rather than an insulated one — it does the job well.

Sturdy, big, no leaks so far
This is a huge water bottle. At a half gallon, it holds a lot of water.What I like: the handle is built into the bottle. This makes it sturdier and keeps from putting extra wear and tear on the lid.The lid has a flip up straw for easy drinking.So far, the bottle seals tightly and has not leaked.The bottle comes with a straw cleaner, which is extremely convenient and makes it very easy to clean the interior straw and the straw that comes out of the cap.There are markings on the side of the bottle to tell you how much you have consumed. However I’m not sure what units of measurement the markings are in. Maybe liters and milliliters?Besides drinking from the straw, you can also flip the whole cap open and drink out of the bottle straight if you want to.The water bottle also has a carrying strap that’s about the right size for your wrist. The carrying strap feels sturdy, but it’s rather uncomfortable on your wrist with the whole weight of a full water bottle on it. There is also a handle on the cap, but I feel like that would be the weak link in the construction of this bottle. I must prefer to carry it by the big handle built into the bottle.What I don’t like: the bottle is not insulated, so it does acquire condensation in humid weather.The interior straw was cracked on the bottom with a little piece missing.There’s no cup holder in the world this is going to fit into.Overall, there are some cons, but this is a well-built and sturdy water bottle that can hold a lot of water. The current cost- 29.99 in March of 2025 is about on par for most half gallon water bottles.
