Good quality jacket, just wasn’t the right fit
All in all I ordered 6 different vests: Glaais, Hecusma, Eoyekli, Gotobi, Shallvio and Hothugz. That wasn’t my original intention however, I wasn’t satisfied with the first couple of vests. My requirements for this vest were:- Diamond stitching- Smooth, quality zippers- Snug fit and looks nice on, but not tight- Location of battery not awkward (behind the hip bone is ideal)- Clothe cover for zipper at the top so it doesn’t rub- Soft lining inside neck (ideal)I ordered a small; XSmall if it was available. I’m 5’4”, 125 lbs. Here’s my review for each one:EoyekliThis was by far the least favorable vest. The neck and arm holes were way too big – so much they looked funny. Not a good fit. Didn’t feel as good of quality as the others. No neck lining. Vest felt super thin and was an easy “no” in my book.ShallvioThis is a nice jacket but the small was just a little big – not bad but if it doesn’t touch your body, you won’t feel the heat (just like motorcycle heated gear). Zippers good, quality good. No other issues on this one.HothugzI wanted to like this jacket – soft lining, good fit, good zippers. However, the zipper at the top was rubbing my neck and after wearing in the house for a while it was annoying. Good quality. I really liked this jacket but just couldn’t deal with the zipper at the neck.GotobiI was going to keep this jacket. Good fit, soft neck lining. However I hesitated due to the pocket zippers – they’re the same type of zippers as on a pillow cover. Very thin and they were getting hung up. I kept zipping up and down over and over and they got smoother so had planned to keep. But when I tried to wear it with the battery on, suddenly it wouldn’t turn on. I tried everything but couldn’t get it to work so I sent it back. Hence ordered more vests.HecusmaThis is a good vest but just didn’t fit snug. Good zippers, etc. Just too roomy.GlaaisThis is the jacket I ultimately decided to keep. Perfect fit, looks attractive on, good zippers, good quality build, soft neck lining. Battery works as expected. It has everything I was looking for. My only complaint is that when it arrived it had already been opened, someone clearly had worn it, etc. It had a couple spots on it – something white but I was able to rub it off w/o an issue. Battery box had been opened, etc. Tags were even detached. I could have complained and sent back but it was ok to keep. Clearly no one had checked it when it was returned and that could be because the person returning it marked it as unopened. Either way, I love it.All these jackets are roughly the same. Quality is important but so is fit. For the best, warm results the jacket needs to touch your body. If you wear a sweater underneath, you may not feel the warmth if it’s super thick. I originally had ordered the Dewbu heated jacket which is nice however, the small is too roomy and I don’t feel much heat unless I wear a coat over it – then I feel the heat. So I figured a vest would be better because in really cold conditions, I’ll wear a jacket over it w/o feeling bulky and that’s exactly what happens. I hope this is helpful.

    Really like it a lot!
Great vest! Has many heat zones including shoulder and neck (many don’t have those). Love the dual heating controls front and back separately. Comfy and warm. Insulated well so I don’t feel like I’m being burnt like other have done. The battery pack in the left pocket does weigh that side down some so I keep mine a little or Al the way zipped to keep it from sagging on that side. Also I try not to lean against counters etc on that side of my body since it’s had the hard item at my side.Battery is easy to recharge. I plug it in at night and it’s good by morning. Tells you the number of life left. You could buy another battery pack for additional life if will be using excessively and/or without ability to charge often.I use mine on medium to high when outside in the winter cold 5-30 min (with layers under and a coat and scarf over). Then when I get inside work I turn it down to low for 1/3-1/2 the workday. Then I often keep it turned off for lunch to closing and the it goes back on high for 5-10 min to go to car and drive home. Occasionally I’ll have it on medium for a bit while at work. With all that, I don’t think I’ve seen it go below 40% battery? I think one day running lots of errands all day it got down to 27-30%?I’m happy with all of it. I like that the pockets can zip too. And it’s a nice slick material that would be good for light wind/rain/snow/ etc.I’ve been cold intolerant this year and this vest has helped me so much!Oh and the neck doesn’t zip too tight like many others that chokes you. (I do have a petite neck, but I’ve had others that felt like it was choking even me).If you can afford, buy. No regrets. (Unless you find an identical one that the lights can turn off cuz I’m fine with it but people do notice and ask. Good talking point discussion, but not if you wanna look nicer / fancier.

Very nice vest but the battery placement won’t work for some people
I tried four different heated vests, and here is what I found:Shallvio: The vest itself was very nice looking. It was lightweight, quilted, had a nice curved, non-boxy shape, and comfortable collar. The 20000 mAh battery should last a long time. I liked that it had heated areas on both the upper and lower back portions, as well as the collar and shoulder areas. On the front it had heated areas for the hands, but not the upper chest. The temp settings were 149/131/113 and the vest heated up quickly. The front and back had independent controls for on/off/temp. The light indicator on the front was very bright and there did not seem to be a way to turn it off while the vest was on. I found it distracting when wearing the vest at night. For spare batteries, the Shallvio store listed a battery available to purchase separately, but it was currently unavailable. I liked this vest and would probably have kept it despite the light indicator, but the battery was too uncomfortable on my hipbone, so I returned it.Venustas: There are a lot of different Venustas vests. The one I got was fleece and had a heated area on the upper chest but not at the pockets, and a heated area at the upper back but not the lower back. It also had heated areas at the collar and shoulders. The temp settings were 131/113/100. It heated up quickly, but I did not feel that the temp got as warm as I wanted it to, and I missed having the heated areas at lower back and pockets. The battery for this one sat at the left lower back behind the hip, and was a slimmer battery than the Shallvio vest, so it was more comfortable. It did not say what size the battery was. There was only one on/off/temp control so all heating areas on the vest had to be at the same setting. The light indicator on the front was not as bright and distracting as the Shallvio, but there still did not seem to be any way to turn it off while the vest was on. For spare batteries, the Venustas store listed some, but they were either nearly as expensive as the vest, or currently unavailable. I sent this one back because it was not warm enough and I wanted more heating areas, also preferably with more independent controls.Wasoto: This is a fleece vest with 16000 mAh battery. It had heated areas on upper and lower front, upper back, and collar. The temp settings were 158/138/120. The wires running through the vest could be felt more on the inside of the vest than on the previous two vests, but were not uncomfortable. The front and back heating areas had separate controls for on/off/temp. The light indicator can be turned off while the vest is still one, which I really like. The battery is just slightly behind the left side, and sits a little higher than the Shalllvio, so is not on my hipbone. It does stick out a bit on the left side giving the wearer a slightly lopsided appearance. I push it as far behind me as the pocket allows. This vest is the only one of the four that also came with a wall plug and not just the charging cord, which is a nice bonus. For spare batteries, the Wasoto store had them available, and at a reasonable price. This fleece vest is lighter weight than the quilted vests, comfortably thin and flexible. It will be nice for chilly days or even layered under another jacket.Sevdiea: This is a quilted vest with 16000 mAh battery. It is a very nice looking vest and curves well to the body, instead of being a boxy shape. The collar was initially a little stiff and uncomfortable in the front, but has softened up. The vest has heated areas on the upper and lower front, upper and lower back, and collar. The temp settings are 149/131/113. The controls for this vest have the most adjustability of the four vests. There are four buttons, three temperature adjustment buttons to independently control on/off/temp for front/back/waist, and an on/off button to turn off the light indicator while the vest is still on. The battery sits behind the left hip. This quilted vest is warm by itself and even more so when turned on. For batteries, the Sevdia store page has a tab for batteries, but no merchandise currently listed there for sale; however, I found Sevdiea batteries for sale separately on Amazon at a reasonable price. Overall I really like this vest for wearing by itself on chilly days. It is a little bulky to layer under another coat, but it can be. I love the adjustability of the settings for different heating panels and that the light indicator can be turned off.I hope this review is helpful.

This is a major passNot only is the battery very large and heavy it doesn’t charge up to 100% best it would get to was 72% after 24 hours charging. When I went to use the vest it would not turn onFollowed all instructions very disappointingThe vest quality was nice and it has potential just doesn’t work

I’ve had several generations of heated gear over the years and each seems to work a bit better. I’ve purchased 3 of these vest and all are happy with fit and function. Run in medium in both zones I’ve gotten just over 6 hours of continuous usage. If I were to pick a thing I would change, while there is nothing wrong with the shell I much preferred the softshell material in the last vest I had both in looks but mostly because it was more comfortable worn under a coat or bike jacket

Had to contact company after receiving as the heated areas were not what you were told. They very quickly responded and were great to deal with. However the battery is very heavy.
