Great hair ties. They are very stretchy and durable. They are great for thick hair. The price is very good for the amount it comes with in one container.

In the 90’s we used to pull our kids hair so tight with “hair balls” and elastic bands that it would cause their edges to come out. Back then we didn’t realize how damaging this was and that it leads to scalp issues like fungus and the hair doesn’t grow back. I’ve learned that using hair ties without rubber or metal is the way to go. This type of hair tie allows me to make secure styles however, I have better control on how tight they are. The hair ties last a long time and you get a lot of them for a really good price. I purchase new ones when I run out, but there’s also an option to wash them if you want to. Just put them in a mesh laundry bag, or be creative and line them on a shoe string so they don’t get lost in the washer.
