Warm and fits great
Warm and comfortable at first it was a little itchy but after I washed it was fine. It was a little large around waist but I just threw in dryer on low heat for 10 min while it was damp and it shrink a little. I’m 5 ft 9 in and 136 lbs and medium worked. I considered small but thought that would be too short. I got lighter weight version because I live in Florida. But if I still was up north I would definitely get the thicker weight.

Perfect for Layering – Warm, Comfortable, and Lightweight!
I’m 5’1” and 114 lbs, and the XS in both the top and leggings fit me perfectly. The material is thin, making it ideal for layering under sweaters or ski gear without adding bulk. I wore the leggings under my jeans, and they didn’t bunch up or feel uncomfortable at all.Compared to Uniqlo’s HeatTech, this set is thinner and warmer, which is impressive. The quality is fantastic, especially for the price—it’s hard to find merino wool at such a reasonable cost, let alone a full set! They’re currently in the wash, but I’ll update with a picture soon. I’m already eyeing the other colors to add to my collection. Highly recommend for anyone looking for warm, versatile layers.

Sold on Iguana Merino Wool!
What a find! I recently moved back to New England and was needing warm base layers to enjoy the winter outside. I purchased this base layer and LOVE them. They fit snug, but not too tight and still have excellent movement. Not bulky and are light weight, but not too thin. Like magic material. I’m a in between a small-medium and sized up, opting for a medium. I would recommend it for anyone in between sizes. Also, I’m 5’9 and was concerned the pants would be too short. They fall about ankle level, so it’s a perfect fit. The base layers are SO warm. I wore them for a run in 10 degree weather and was peeling off layers 3 miles in. 10/10 recommend.

Warm and comfortable
So soft, no shrinking after 2 washing , natural fiber so it doesn’t get sticky feeling! The bottoms to fall down, the legs don’t ride up! Sized true to what it says. Thin enough to wear under everyday clothes.

Updated Review: Overpriced and Underwhelming – Not Worth It
I initially had high hopes for this Iguana Merino Wool Base Layer Set, but after spending more time with it, I’ve realized it’s far from worth the $88 price tag. The fabric is lightweight and breathable, but it’s also unacceptably thin, feeling more like a budget polyester layer than high-quality merino wool. For warmth, it falls flat—barely providing enough insulation for cool days, let alone cold ones. I’d honestly rate the warmth level at a 2 out of 5 now.The fit is overly snug, and while I expected some stretch, it’s uncomfortable and restrictive. On top of that, the slight itchiness I initially brushed off is now just plain annoying. Merino wool is supposed to be soft and itch-free, but this set doesn’t deliver.Yes, it wicks moisture decently, but that’s not enough to save this product. For $88, I expected far more in terms of quality, comfort, and warmth. These thermals are vastly overpriced and underperform in every key area. Save your money and invest in something better—these are absolutely not worth it. 1 star.

Ok
These are ok. Not very soft and not an attractive fit, but they were a fine base layer for my first time skiing.

Very lightweight, sizing not consistent with the size chart
I live in NYC and it is snowing here right now so wanted to try a baselayer. Pros: Very thin/lightweight so good for layering, 100% wool so it is pretty warm, less scratchy/itchy than you’d expect for 100% wool. Cons: it is on the lighter side of warmth so you either layer up well or get a thicker base layer and secondly, the sizing is not consistent with the size chart. According to the size chart, I am a Medium. I am typically XS in all brands so I trusted my gut and got S. The S is still a bit too loose, good to wear by itself if wearing in the house but if I’m layering up, would have preferred a tighter fit.Update: I ended up returning this item. The fit wasn’t ideal.

Great set!
Really happy with these! It’s been incredibly cold where I live recently (as I’m sure it’s been for anyone looking at this listing) and these have been great! They’re thin and flexible but super warm and moisture wicking. They wash easily and come out looking and feeling new. The fit is very comfortable, and I’m thinking about getting a second set!
