If we stick with our routine long-term, we’ll likely upgrade — but for now, these are a perfect starting point.1. Context & Use CaseMy partner and I are just beginning our yoga journey, practicing at home using Yoga with Kassandra as our guide. After about a month of using no props, we decided to explore bolsters — but wanted something affordable while we figure out how deeply yoga will integrate into our lifestyle. This reference is from both a male and female user experience.We purchased two bolsters (Grey and Green) and primarily use them for passive Yin poses, where support and comfort matter most. This review is for both items since they are identical.2. First Impressions & SetupThe bolsters arrived vacuum sealed. After removing the packaging, they expanded and off-gassed fairly quickly — about 30 minutes to reach full size. We let them air out uncovered before first use, and that process was simple and painless.3. Purchased a few of these for my yin yoga classes. They are firm and made well. I feel like they are worth the money $29 and will hold up for quite some time. No smell. And are the right length and width for yin yoga. Great support.

I needed a bolster for restorative yoga class. I chose this based on reviews. I like it. It is not too hard, nor does it shift while using. It did not smell upon opening and shipped quickly. I like the soft, sueded fabric and cool teal color. I use the handle on the end more than I thought I would.

EXELLENT!
Perfect size, perfect hardness. Always amazes me that this material comes shrink wrapped in a very small size and ‘blows up’ to something 3 times its size. And is so firm but soft. Perfect for yoga use and toddler can use it as small stool – it’s firm enough to not cave with 40 lbs of weight.

Firm Yoga Bolster…it’s Awesome!
My biggest concern with ordering a yoga bolster was getting one that wouldn’t have much form to it, and would compress too much. I shopped around a lot, and didn’t want to be in the $60+ price range. So, after a bit of research and reading reviews, I decided on this one from NGT. It is firm, and sturdy, and supports my weight enough to actually support me and help me get into yoga positions. The foam is dense, but not hard, and I can tell this will last a long time. The case is a suede-like, removable, soft cover. Very happy with this purchase.

This is a sturdy bolster that I use almost every day. I also take it with me to my yoga classes. It helps me stay in poses that I would have difficulty with. I do like the handle and the material is soft. The bolster itself it sturdy which I was looking for. A great item to have for restorative yoga. I also have used it to elevate my legs on the couch.
