USE THE FLEX HOSE FOR THE DRAIN!!!!!
The only thing that helps with my monthly cramps is a hot hot bath. I call it the monthly boiling ritual. Due to a recent bathroom catastrophe, our tub had to be removed. We aren’t infinitely wealthy, so for now thats just an empty space in the bathroom where we will install a tub in 3-10 years. But I still needed to boil. I went one cycle without the boil ritual and impulsively ordered this tub. First of all, the constellation pattern is adorable. The tub fits in my teeny tiny 32×32 shower (we were a skinnier people in the 90s) but feels spacious. I am 5’9″ and ALL legs. I can comfortably sit criss cross applesauce or with my knees up. I am typing this from my first use of the tub, so hop in and have a soak with me.1. I love that it folds easily and stores in a little bag. It fits neatly in my closet. Not sure how thrilled I will be about that once this soak is done. Hoping it just dries itself overnight so I can pack it away in the morning.2. It comes with all sorts of attachments and accessories. I have used none of them. Not even the plastic liners because what am I, ice in a hotel? Anyway, the little pillow probably would have been nice, but I’m just leaning against the wall. It’s so easy to setup too.3. It may be due to my shower, but it took a while to fill. As long as a tub? Idk, its been 2 months since I had the luxury of a bathtub. I’m crampy and impatient so I got tired of waiting for it to fill. Next time I think I’ll hold out a little longer as my kneecaps are cold. But I didn’t even fill it half way. If I filled it “all the way” i could probably sink to my neck which i couldn’t really do in my other tub. So the depth is nice if you can wait for it to fill.4. I ran my shower water on the hottest setting. By the time it gets to the tub and starts filling, it loses a little temp. It’s not the nice scalding bath I once had, but its still doing the trick. Next time I might try to disconnect the removable shower head to just fill it like a hose.5. This thing is roomy as hell. Seriously, you can get in here with me and see for yourself. I’m 5’9″ and 150lb. Not sure about how “fat friendly” it is, but i feel it is spacious. Im all legs and I dont feel cramped in here at all.6. The drain is holding. I dont feel like I have a slow leak. It also isn’t bulging like I thought it would. It’s holding pretty sturdy. We’ll see how drainage goes once I pull the plug.7. It’s holding heat well. I was worried since it seemed to not be super hot when i got in that it had lost heat as it was filling but I have a bit of forehead sweat, so it’s remaining toasty in here.Overall, its a nice temporary fix for not having a tub. Get a nice suction cup holder for your wine glass and you could be living your financially modest dream.I’d recommend it. Unless you can afford to replace your tub and renovate the bathroom. Then I’d suggest that.FOR THE LOVE OF ALL THINGS GOOD USE THE FLEX DRAIN.I set up the tub. I filled the water. I had a good soak. You were there. Then it came time to drain. I pulled the bottom one. Nothing happened. I pulled the top one. Water started flowing. Nice. I looked over the edge. The water was rising around the tub. Oh no. Put it back put it BAAACK. So I plug it. And I get out and slide my hands under the hermetically sealed tub bottom to separate it from my shower drain. I hold the edges up just enough to let water flow out the upper port and around the tub then under me. This goes on for so long my wife fears I have fallen asleep in the tub. She comes in to find me as you see in the photos. She laughs, uses the bathroom, and goes back to bed. I continue draining. It takes longer to drain than it does to fill – which already felt like forever. So, USE THE FLEX HOSE. Connect it to the port, run it under the tub and to your drain. Hell better yet pop your shower drain cover off and run the flex pipe INTO your drain. Learn from my mistake. (Although the position I had to hold also helped with cramps.) I still recommend it.

    Glad to have this option
Takes time to put bottom drain into position, (my arms not long enough), able to use and drain into shower drain provided hose was not needed. Placed tub drain over shower drain and this worked well. This works for a person that is able to stand from a sitting position without assistance. I have grab bars that enable me to use this product. I have not used pillow that comes with. Easy to set up other than the plug. Great option and price for my usage. Maintains the temp of the water for my usage, Epsom salts and essential oils. Easy to clean and store as folds.

    Leaky bottom plug
I’m heartbroken. I love the depth! The fact that it collapses is great! But the plug at the bottom is not sturdy. I’ve had my bath about 2 months is all and the drain plug at the bottom is leaking profusely. I cannot use it anymore. I won’t be buying this tub again due to the plug issue but will be looking for a better replacement.

    Good for the price
Doing a big plumbing job at home, and needed a way to bathe in our shower. It works well for what I neededThe only issue I would change is the pillow Thats comes with it needs a different type of air valve.

    Not great
Not a very logical depth to width ratio.

    Works great in a RV
This tub feels on the inside like a kids swimming pool. It folds small and fits in a tight area of the RV. I use this for the kids in the half bath of our RV. We just dump it out the back door let it dry and fold it up with no problems.
