great for a stroller
This little sound machine is ideal for use when we’re out and about or when we’re traveling. I’ve found it great to attach it to our stroller when we know our little one needs some rest. The sound machine does a great job of helping to block out other noises or at least dull them out with white noise.The built in cloth loop allows for easy hanging and the included plastic ring loop means you can attach the sound machine to just about anything. I have it on our stroller’s side bars where they form an x. I’ve found that to be a bit better than hanging from the top handle bar.We have other sound machines and one thing I was worried about was whether it would be easy and intuitive to use or not. One sound machine I had would always speak the button that was pressed like “30 minute timer set”. I don’t need a voice when I’m trying to put the little one to sleep. Thankfully, this sound machine doesn’t do that and it has fairly big buttons as well. The timer is straight forward and lit so you can see which option you’re picking.For the most part, we know that a slightly dull white noise works for our baby so we just use that without really using any of the other sounds. Sometimes though, we’ll need a piano sound to help our baby fixate on the sound and I like that there’s some nursery rhyme piano sounds.In terms of battery life, so far, we’ve used it overnight a few times just fine on like a medium volume. It claims up to 40 hours but I always just charge it in the morning so it’s ready to go.
