Comfortable and good quality material
Although this mat is on the heavy side, I love it because it is very comfortable. It has very good slip resistance and I believe it will last a long time because it seems well made.

Questionable Quality
UPDATE: I decided to keep the mat and just carefully peel off the cork that was ripped.I used it for a barre class and honestly my knees have never been happier! I can overlook the minor quality issues because it is so comfy during a workout. I got a few people who came over to look at it and asked to feel it because you can just tell it’s extra squishy by looking at it.I would recommend this yoga mat if you like extra support, just know that the cork might be a little messed up in places.—-The mat is beautiful and looks just like the photo. I placed it on a tile floor and it was still soft and comfortable on my knees (which require a lot of support these days!).The reason I gave this yoga mat 3 stars is because I’ve ordered two now and both have shown up damaged. The cork is peeling off in multiple spots and I’m not sure how long it will actually last.I haven’t used it in a full yoga class yet because I haven’t decided if I should return this second one as well, or just try it out and see if the rest of the cork starts peeling.

Poor Quality.
Poor quality cork. Took it out of the box, rolled it open and it accidentally folded. Now there is a large crease where all the cork effectively broken.

Just received this cork yoga mat yesterday and did a quick practice. So far, I’m really impressed. The surface has a nice natural grip, and it feels more grounded and stable than a typical foam mat.It’s firm but still comfortable on the joints, and I love the earthy, minimal look. The quality feels solid, and it rolls up nicely with the straps. It needs to relax some at the ends since it’s been rolled up for some time, but that’s to be expected.Early days, but first impression: a great upgrade if you’re into low-tox, natural materials.
