I Love the Foot-Hugging Fit
I’m tired of wearing sneakers and running shoes that are so wide on the outside that they make my feet look clunky and enormous. These Ryka sneakers follow the lines of my feet without being so narrow that they pinch. My feet actually look reasonable in them. They have good support, good treads to minimize slipping, and are lightweight enough to feel comfortable all day. I appreciate that the ankle support hits exactly where it should. The heels tend to angle my feet forward a little, but that’s not a bad thing.I wear between an 8.5 and a 9, depending on brand. While these in an 8.5 fit, I wish I had sized up for a little more room in the toes, especially when I wear thicker socks. The Quiet Gray has just a touch of aqua on the tops but much more on the sides and soles. I love that these are quality sneakers that look and feel great, too.— Debbie Lee Wesselmann

The most comfortable sneakers! Like walking on a cloud!
I just love these sneakers! My left foot is deformed and when I was pregnant my feet went from a size 10 medium to a size twelve wide. I had a hard time finding any shoes and sneakers . Everything was really tight and caused blisters and the foot doctors told me I had to get specially made shoes that cost anywhere from $400-500 dollars and were not guaranteed to look that great . Being young I first of all could not afford to spend that kind of money on just one pair of shoes and second I’m not vain but I didn’t want to be made fun of. Initially I bought sketchers size 12 wide sneakers but it didn’t matter if they were slip on or tie on , they still were tight especially on my left foot. And it caused blisters everywhere on my feet. I finally saw these sneakers which had great reviews and I said let me try a different brand. When they arrived the color was so bright blue and vibrant and so pretty and I crossed my fingers. I put them on and they were so comfortable and roomy and yes they were a size 12 wide sneakers. Even my daughter complimented how nice they were on me. They were not tight at all on me not even on my deformed left foot. I walked around on them and had no problem. When I finally had to go somewhere with them on and I walk with a cane , I had no issues. No blisters formed and my feet felt like I was walking on clouds. They are slip resistant so I had no problem when it rained. Very flexible and not a stiff sneaker. Very breathable. In addition, I have lupus so I get a lot of joint pain so these sneakers really ease the pain in my ankles, knees, and hips so I don’t feel as bad like I did previously with the sketchers because of the blisters which made me walk funny and caused me to walk unevenly on my joints. I loved these sneakers so much I bought more in different colors in my size and bought an extra blue pair as back up in case they sold out in the future. Since my daughter loves them too , I also bought her a few in her size. We just love them. Highly recommend!

Toe Dream and Shoe Lace Nightmare
PROS:Super comfygreat ankle supportwide toe boxlooks greatCONS:Came with a wimpy insole – easy to replaceShoe laces are crazy hard to replace – had to use tweezers. This must be a design flaw since I have never ever seen another shoe that did not lace through the shoe. This laces through a leather top piece.Heel area can rub me the wrong way after a long day.Overall: Would buy this brand again, but only if it had normal shoe laces.

Great daily wear shoe
I’m not an athlete; I’m a standard, overweight mom. These have been my daily shoes for 7 months. Seriously. I wore them every day for 210 days. They’re comfortable, sturdy, durable, and didn’t make my teenage daughter roll her eyes for fashion reasons. The soles are only now starting to disintegrate, and I’ll be getting more when they go the way of all sneakers.

Love Ryka shoes but don’t like the lacing system on this particular style
Ryka shoes are one of my go-to for walking shoes. They’re comfortable and reasonable priced. The main issue I have with this particular pair is that there are tabs the shoestrings go through instead of the usual holes, which make the shoestrings extremely hard to tighten up enough to get a good fit. Instead of sending them back, I punched holes in the tabs and through to the inside of the shoe. This works much better. I will be more careful next time I buy this brand to make sure they do not lace up through tabs.

Comfortable, supportive, excellent purchase
For a girl whose life motto is flip-flops till the snow flies, these are pretty great shoes. In general, I hate wearing “real shoes” and I’m only half joking when I say that they make me feel like my feet are in prison. But also, I work in an outdoor environment and the years of beating up my feet have taken their toll. My doctor told me I need to get better shoes if I want to avoid foot surgery. I have tried on literally dozens and dozens of shoes and none of them ever felt right. These were a last ditch effort before I went on a vacation. Then I ended up having to walk the entire Miami airport and was so so grateful to be wearing solid supportive shoes. Overall, they are actually comfortable and they provide excellent support. The toe box is wide enough that it doesn’t feel like it’s crushing my feet. The heel is firm enough that it doesn’t squish down and get uncomfortable around my ankle. And of course they are cute, which was also a concern of mine.So in summary, they are comfortable, great support, super cute, and a great value for the money. I’m very pleased with the purchase.

Great fit and comfort
I absolutely love these sneakers I have severe arthritis in my feet along with plantar fasciitis. In one foot I have tried every brand known to man and my feet always hurt after an hour on my feet. These are sneakers are truly like “ walking on clouds” which I always laughed at.first day wearing I brought flip flops just in case I was on my feet for 4 hrs doing errands shopping etc. I swear I had zero zero pain when I got home first thing when I get home I take off my sneakers not that day I put things away vacuumed the house cleaned etc . So if you have foot pain get these please!! You won’t regret it. They have a wider toe box and a slim heel which makes them perfect. I have narrow feet. I’m a size 9 and they fit perfectly.

I had been hampered by persistent metatarsalgia in my left foot for some time. After reviewing different walking shoes, I purchased these. I haven’t been disappointed. I have been able to resume regular daily exercise and the pain has significantly decreased. I’m optimistic it will eventually go altogether.
