High quality, inexpensive, free workouts on Sunny app
Had it for a few months and so far so good. Very basic, good resistance, and easy to use for beginners. Sunny is a great company with free instructional and workout videos on their free app. I have two of their machines. They are basic, well made, and inexpensive. It was nice to spent $300 on a rowing machine to get the feel of it before I graduate to a $2000 machine from the big name brands. Added bonus is the foot plates to hold the machine down so you can just work your arms with the row handles.

Sturdy and easy to assemble
I’m thrilled that I ended up getting this rower. It’s not feature-packed like some other expensive ones, but the more features on a product, the more likely it is to break. Don’t even get me started on the stupid screens that they include on Pelotons and Nordic Tracks that will be obsolete in two years because of a software update.Either way, this is sturdy, easy to put together (took 15 mins or so) and the hardware is even organized by what step in the instructions it corresponds to. The console connects to the free app which has loads of great workouts and provides you with more info than the console alone. The ONLY thing I wish is that the calorie counter in the app could take the resistance level into account. Other than that, it’s a great machine for the price.

Broke after about 100 workouts
Pros: There’s space in front of your feet, so you can get a more full range of motion than a lot of other rowing machines give you.Cons: The rowing machine broke on me after 12 months of usage and 76000 pulls. With my purchase price of $433.49 and about 750 pulls per workout, that was $4.27 per workout. If I had bought the non-smart version, that would have been much more cost efficient. Indeed, the “Smart” features aren’t actually worth it: the Android app is buggy and doesn’t provide much value, so I didn’t really use it after trying it 2 or 3 times. Also, the plastic roller wheels on the seat slowly break down, so there are always little bits of plastic littering the track.

Good machine at a good price.
I love this machine. There were a couple of factors that tipped me to this particular rowing machine. One it has a padded seat. Very comfortable. Two, it allows you to use it standing up to exercise your arms. Also the reviews were good, I don’t put a great deal of stock in reviews, but comments like this machine is quiet, are helpful, since many people mentioned it. Also, the price was reasonable, I for sure wasn’t going to spend a grand or more on a rowing machine. I did pay the extra $100. To have it delivered and set up. Money well spent.

Very weak resistance!!
16 levels of resistance?! Define levels….almost no difference from 1 to 16. You can easily break the magnetic pull by going faster….so you have to keep a very slow pace to get any resistance. Used one and only one time because it was too easy!!!!

Like it so far…
I got this rower because I have knee issues and my treadmill makes it worse. I know weight loss will help but walking is an issue so needed alternative exercise. Anyway, this seems like just the ticket. I took about an hour to assemble by myself, but I was super careful so slower than probably needed. Getting it out of the packaging was actually harder than assembly. I had a problem inserting the pull pin in the last step, holes didn’t line up (probably because its on carpet). I solved this by removing the knob and loosening the bolt that holds the rail parts together. I was able to align holes and insert pin, then tightened up bolt and re-installed knob. Pin won’t come out easily but i dont plan to have to fold it very often. My computer didn’t have velcro on the battery area, and I found out the hard way that the batteries will fall out inside the pulley area (If this happens, lean rower on side so batteries fall where you can get them). After that adventure I used tape to hold in batteries. I am in low-average shape, and the lower tension on the rower works for me but plenty of room to increase as I improve. Very quiet. One thing I didn’t consider is that the rower is basically on the floor, so you may want a chair close by if you have trouble getting up. So far I am pleased with the purchase… will update if this changes.

Quality, well documented & well packaged
Came well packaged & protected. Install document was excellent. Packaging of included nut, bolts, washers & tools was excellent. No hassling with adding/removing water as this is a magnetic type rower. My complements to Sunny. My wife is the primary user and she enjoys her rowing workout very much.
