I love the lid
The lid keeps the ice clean for next use and the ice cubes pop out once the water settles. I really like this one. I fill it up after a shower and once I’m dried off and dressed, the bath is really cold.

Good for numbing face after a chemical peel or waxing !
What a great little concept to give your face and ice plunge. Ice plunge are the rage for fitness centers after you do a workout. But doing a face plunge helps tighten up the skin a little bit because of the cold. It causes the blood vessels to constrict. It’s just the right size to immerse your face a couple inches into the water. It does collapse on itself, and therefore is space-saving. If it did not do that, I probably would not have purchased this. I am not quite sure of the purpose of the turquoise silicone bottom. Yes it is for making ice cubes but most refrigerators this day and age have an ice dispenser. I don’t think it needs it. If anything, it’s just one more thing to keep track of. All you really have to ice cubes and water. Given the small size it doesn’t take long for you to get to the right cold temperature. It’s kind of like when you shock your green vegetables after they are boiling in water. I do find value that if you do a at home chemical peel, following it up with this ice bath for your face will feel great. I also feel like it is useful for after you thread or wax your face. You can stick your face in the ice bowl and it takes the sting away from waxing.

It fits my head perfectly! The size is great and I could dunk my entire face into iced water without over spilling. The lid is secure and keeps the water from seeping out. It’s worth it!

nICE bowl!
It’s nice that this bowl collapses down to be flush and well protected by it’s lid. Very space efficient this way! I almost forgot what I had gotten, when I got the bowl in a box, and was surprised to know that thin box was holding a whole bowl inside of it! It freezes quite evenly in it’s compartments when filled fully and properly. There is more than enough room to add water into it when you expand it into a bowl and release the ice cubes into it. I didn’t think I would like ice baths for my face, but I tried it before getting this bowl and saw how much it helps with inflammation and just gives me a good waking up.

This ice cube tray / large silicone collapsible bowl has been awesome for bringing my breakfast ordeal to my home work station, or late night tinkering and keeping all my beverages of the moment cold. I like to drink 5 or 6 different things at once sometimes, so this is a great way to keep them fresher longer. Also cheese and other cold snacks to keep on hand during periods of hyperfocus. The unique lid and ability to use the ice cubes for drinks makes this my new favourite ice cube bowl. The ice cubes that smell like freezer which remain uncovered I find to be repulsive so I have used similar bowls with uncovered ice in other ways — this one is so ideal for snacking and everyday usage. The lid is secure and flush against the silicone bowl. These ice cubes actually taste normal and are a nice small, flat size. Also it folds down super flat for a perfect tool that’s super easy to store in even a full freezer — it just needs a surface in the freezer that is flat while the ice cubes melt.Have not used for face/beauty yet but it would easily double for that usage. Maybe best to buy 2 so one can be designated for each use. Recommend as THE ice cube bowl to get.
