Nikki W. – Blends Easy, Not Gritty, Skin Benefits!
I love the consistency. I usually add to smoothies but if I’m short on time, it tastes just as great mixed with water. It blends easily and doesn’t leave a gritty taste. I’ve noticed a difference in my skin and nails since I started drinking this. My nails are less brittle and my skin feels plumper.

Mark C. – Great Product, Keeps Me Looking Younger!
I mix this with soy or almond milk every morning. It is smooth & tastes good. My hair & nails stay healthy & my joints don’t bother me anymore. I plan to stay on the product long term. It helps me control my weight and keeps my skin looking younger and I’m pretty sure it is slowing down my wrinkles.
How can it be plant-based if it has collagen in it?
The Collagen Building Protein Peptides is not a collagen. Collagen Building Protein Peptides means that the product contains the same set of amino acids and nutrients that your body needs to produce its own collagen.
What are the benefits of Collagen Building Protein Peptides?
This product has amino acids, BCAAs, and is high in vitamin C. It contains biotin, hyaluronic acid, 100% vegan collagen building ingredients & it tastes great! It also has no added sugar, no dairy, no soy & is gluten-free, Non-GMO & vegan.
Why do you put silica in your product?
Our Silica is sourced from bamboo. Silica is a key co-nutrient for collagen and elastin production. It also boosts calcium absorption to strengthen bones, hair, skin, and nails.
How does Sunwarrior’s Collagen Building Protein Peptides help naturally help my body build collagen?
Collagen production in the body decreases as we get older but you can help your body make its own by eating a diet rich in key amino acids and nutrients. Our product provides all necessary components that a body needs to naturally make collagen.
What is the Vitamin C source in this product?
The source of Vitamin C in the Collagen Builder is from organic amla (also known as Indian Gooseberry) as well as from organic sea buckthorn berries. These two fantastic sources provide 10 times the potency of vitamin C in oranges.

Best one I have had to date! Worth the try!
Most vegan products have an acquired taste and this is no different! There are others with a less chalky taste if that is what you desire. I love this but I honestly do not believe it is as strong as other peptides probably because of the difference in ingredients. No significant difference in hair and nails but while others (non-vegan) are a bit harsh on my stomach this is not at all (huge bonus). I’m not fully vegan (seafood and chicken only), although I do try to be. I prefer vegan supplements and shakes not only because they are vegan but they also aid in proper and consistent digestion. Along with great nutrition they work tremendously. The benefits are noticeable, although, not as quickly or as strong as non-vegan products. The unflavored, in my opinion, tastes and works better but that may be the difference in ingredients or maybe just my opinion. Don’t want to sound contradictory but I’d rather have vegan instead of a product with some part of a cow in it (not a milk person either). I’m working on my 2 other problems. The taste of course isn’t the greatest but nothing vegan is really! I just wish of course the price were a bit cheaper, but I will continue to purchase (used to it now) and I absolutely recommend! To each their own but going vegan was the best thing that has ever happened to my body. The only drawback is the amount of money I have spent experimenting a variety of countless products.

Tastes horrible. Really bad.
First let me say I bought the unflavored. I tried it hot in my coffee. It is in no way unflavored. Tastes terrible and smells a bit like ass. I said what I said. This stuff was undrinkable. I poured it out.So my next attempt was in my iced coffee shake concoction I drink every day. This contains Starbucks concentrate, unsweetened vanilla almond milk, 1 scoop of keto chocolate meal shake, and a fiber packet. This is the same drink I have my vital proteins in and originally I had intended to swap that out for this stuff. This was a non starter in that also.It just is not unflavored as they claim. It also has a thicker texture which reminds me of sawdust in a way.I may try blending with some miso and seeing if I can choke some down. If not. I am all the way out. Oh and also, they have an enormous scoop in there. Surely to God no one is able to choke down a whole scoop.I will update after the Miso.

Found what I was looking for!
I tried a couple of other powders including the vanilla version of this one. They definitely had an odd taste and were too sweet for me. This one has no real taste and a smooth texture that blends right into a smoothie. I’m glad to have found it and hope that it will be a healthy addition to my nutritional intake. Ive only had it about a week.

OK
I bought this because it is vegan. Hate the taste, though I bought the plain, flavorless one. There is an unpleasant after taste that I just don’t like. I add a whole banana and vanilla extract to kill some of the taste. I will purchase again, as this is the only good vegan collagen powder I have found. I put in blender to completely dissolve it.

Tastes great, I have in morning smoothie
Had been drinking this off and on but now am quite into having in a daily smoothie the past month. My nails are definitely much stronger, growing out. (They can otherwise be very thin/flexible at ends.) I hope it will also make them or nail beds smoother, we’ll see. Am also hoping this will help with hair. I’ve always had “fine hair but a lot of it” which I only came to appreciate past year when my ponytail and volume started thinning. If it helps I may update this.I’m surprised at some reviews mentioning a bad taste. I think it’s great. Nothing noticeably bad. I get the unflavored and put in smoothie with banana, almond milk, yogurt, berries, honey. I don’t feel like I’m trying to “cover up” or mask a bad taste. And I’m *very* sensitive taste-wise to stevia or sugar substitutes. (Except I loved the monkfruit in red bag but stopped using because of concerns about an additive and have found no alternative). Point is I am quick to pick up any aftertaste and don’t find one in the unflavored, and I don’t think it contains stevia or similar.Only 1 scoop has 18 grams of protein. I was thinking of getting additional “green” powder but glad I reread ingredients as this already has spirulina, kale etc.

Not sure how to use it.
It doesn’t dissolve so you end up with a nasty tasting sludge. ***Update… mixed the scoop of powder in peanut butter with a little maple syrup… it’s a lot of peanut butter to eat but if you then dilute that with water to the point where you can drink it then it’s not going to be so bad to get down. The instructions should be better because you can’t just mix this huge scoop in any drink when it doesn’t dissolve. Also not sure if it degrades when heated otherwise maybe it could be mixed in with something like pancake batter.

Finally, Unflavored!!
I prefer unsweetened and unflavored protein products! I am vegan and over 50. My hair started thinning and my nails were brittle a couple years ago. The brown rice protein powder and multivitamin were not helping. I discovered the importance of collagen last year. However, all of the collagen supplements were all animal derived. A store clerk told me about Sunwarrior plant based collagen builders, but they only had chocolate and vanilla.I tried both of them and the results were amazing. Within days I noticed my hairline no longer receded and my hair is thicker. My body is not as sore after a shift. My nails grow stronger, and my skin heals faster after I’ve cut or bruised myself at work. The only problem was the flavor. I searched high and low for an unflavored version to mix with orange juice, coconut water, or almond milk, and finally found it. I use a blender bottle to take with me. The powder mixes easily when shaken vigorously. It tastes good and has a nice thick consistency, but best of all it works!!

Heinous taste and texture
I bought the unflavored version and and can not stand it. Not only is there an obvious taste but the texture is heinous and does not fully dissolve. I did try it mulitple times first with juice and then in a fruit smoothie. Both times between the taste and texture I had to throw it away it was so gross. I cant speak to if it works since those issues overpowered everything else.

flavor is good, i mix it with fruits and my skin and hair are so grateful!

The flavour is rich and easy to swallow when added to tea or coffee.

Will update review after use.
Amazon Customer –
This product taste awful and it is very clumpy and thick. I would no recommend.
Kye –
Collagen is usually tasteless but this one is not. It is horrible. Returns are not allowed so think carefully before buying!I cannot see the point of making a product so bad that few can bear it!!!!Amazon is becoming really annoying with products which cannot be returned so I amGoing to shop supplements from other places. If you are going to change your policy overnight, I will take back my custom! No problem!
