Comfort and Fit in a Shoe!
I have two different size feet like many people and these shoes fit great. Often I have trouble with the heel on the smaller foot slipping but not with these. I am normally a 10.5 and ordered the 10. These shoes are great for trying a zero drop sole. And, the price was right. I read on other reviews that they looked clownish, but once you have them on they are cute and comfortable.

    Stylish and comfortable
I’ve been wearing these Whitin wide toe box shoes for a few weeks now, and I’m really impressed. The toe box is spacious, so my toes have plenty of room to spread naturally, a huge relief compared to most sneakers. They feel lightweight and breathable, and I can wear them for errands, walking, or casual days without any discomfort. The minimalist design is great for anyone looking for a barefoot-style shoe, and they break in quickly. While they’re not built for heavy running or rough terrain, they’re perfect for daily wear, light activity, or even the gym.

Nice casual shoe, but not for running
Toe box is generous and fit is comfortable; this is a nice, light casual shoe. However, after taking them out for a mile at the track, I won’t be using them for running. The shoe has little structual support or underfoot cushion; the outsole is not aggressive enough for trails. It also lacks an extra eyelet at the top, which is used for the heel-lock lacing technique to snug the back of a shoe if between sizes and the larger is needed at the forefoot. I need a closed wide-toebox shoe, so I’m going to keep mine for walking and casual use, but won’t use them consistently for running. For that, I’ll likely return to a more expensive name brand to keep from injuring my old feet, which after decades of serious running deserve the consideration. A detail: The “beige” is actually closer to white, to my eye.

    Great value for money
Great shoe but now I have to change all my regular ones to wide toe box… Anyway, the break in took about 10-15 miles since there was some rubbing on the tops of my toes (wierd, never had that before) and the heel cushion felt very flat in the beginning but has now somewhat molded to my shape. It’s not like, heel hugging and amazing as other athletic shoes but they’re great for everyday walking and light hikes. The laces are also great- they’re flat and hold in place, so that’s nice. I got the cream color and it’s an awesome, boring, but trending color just like I wanted.

    Comfortable with key features!
I love these shoes! I am recovering from a broken little toe and needed wide toe box shoes as I transition out of the medical shoe. My current athletic shoes are too narrow. I also wanted no drop soles so my foot wouldn’t be pushed forward, adding weight to my toes. These fit the bill while also adding mild arch support. They have some flexibility without being as much as barefoot shoes. I will continue to wear these beyond my recovery! I have narrow heels and wear size 5 or 6 usually. The 5.5 / Euro 36 fit great!

I WISH I BOUGHT THESE YEARS AGO
A friend of mine recommended Whitin shoes to me a year ago, but I was living in Hawaii and barely ever wore shoes to begin with. Once we moved to the mainland, I needed sneakers for the gym and realized that after being mostly barefoot for almost three years made it literally painful to wear “normal” sneakers!I looked up a ton of different barefoot shoes of various brands and price ranges. My husband had a pair of the Flux Footwear training sneakers and didn’t love them. I remembered my friend’s recommendation of Whitin sneakers, so I gave it a shot. I went with these runners as they seemed to look most similar to things I’ve worn in the past.I WISH I BOUGHT THESE YEARS AGO! The quality is great – they are sturdy and well-constructed. It’s the first pair of shoes I’ve worn that didn’t need a week or two of a painful “breaking in” period. They were comfortable from the start! I wore them immediately on a 3 mile hike and absolutely loved it. The shoes give my toes room to breath while also keeping my feet protected. It’s a great price – even if they don’t last super long due to quick wear (which I have not noticed yet) it’s not a big deal to replace them with this price tag. For sizing, I did the paper trick: step on a sheet of paper and draw a line at the top and bottom of your foot and measure the in-between. I was a true 9 and the shoes fit great!10/10 would recommend!

    Pretty good
Very nice lightweight shoes for short distance flat walking. Good traction. You can slip them on or tie them each time. Arch support was medium. Insole comes out/so you can put in your own orthotics. Could be worn as normal sneaks.

    Didn’t work for me
I wanted to love these, but I had to return. The heel cushion sits low and kept slipping. I doubt that sizing down would have helped as my toes were at the top edge already. Plus, my feet ached after wearing them for a few hours in the house. Very cute and stylish. I wish they worked for me, but it wasn’t meant to be.

These are exactly what I needed. My job has me moving, crouching, squatting, on tip toes, pushing, pulling, lifting and carrying stuff all day. Since my feet supinate I can end up with a rolled ankle easily in regular shoes. Being able to spread my toes keeps my ankle stable and prevents it. These are reasonably priced and great quality. I’m sure I’ll be purchasing more Whitin shoes in the future.I’m always a bit hesitant to review things on Amazon that I’d like to purchase again later. Once something’s in demand sellers seem to jack the prices up. Hopefully, that won’t be the case. 😬

I bought these ahead of a week at Universal and I do not regret them. They are comfortable, the size was perfect. The insoles are removable so I was able to swap insoles and use my own insoles and change them throughout the day as needed. The zero drop is not like Birkenstocks… there really is no bridge support… These shoes do not bother my toes like every other runner I have owned. I was nervous about the little padding around the shoe, but it’s perfect. They do everything I need them to. And they didn’t get very dirty, at the park or in regular use, despite their light colour.

Shoe is great, but it fits small. I have another pair of Whitins in the same size and they fit great – these are smaller. To return they only give UPS as an option (or send on your own and they’ll only refund $20) so for rural folk it’s not so easy or affordable to return from Canada.
