Beautiful cork yoga mat
Just received and my initial reaction is that it’s amazing! I love the weight it lays out very flat for a cork mat it’s soft and yet very grippy beautiful black pigment used in the dye for the design. It’s a lovely yoga mat. I have high hopes for the durability, but as I have only used a few times, we are yet to see.

Amazing mat for hot yoga and regular practice
I bought this mat last year, probably like 4-5 months ago and I was really waiting for write my review because I sweat a lot and I practice daily and sometimes even twice a day including hot yoga so I just wanted to make sure this mat could last and work for this heavy practice… let me tell you it didn’t disappoint! The grip is amazing! Not only while doing hot yoga but my hands sweat a lot and this mat hold my body perfectly! Also, the design is super cute and it’s very comfy since I didn’t get the thicker one. It’s very light compared to my old cork mat so yes! I’m very happy with it!

Give it time
I bought this yoga mat in early 2021 and it took some time to get used to. I was constantly slipping around on it in down dog and other poses you can rely on the mat to hold you in. I was about to give up and go on the hunt for a new one when I started getting the hang of it. My yoga mat basically broke in, and became a little tackier. I swear it wasn’t from dirt buildup or anything, it just needed some roughing up.For newbies looking at this yoga mat like I was and see “slipping mat”, it’s not slipping on the floor it’s slipping under your hands in poses. I was one of those who thought “how does it have rubber siding on the bottom and slide everywhere?”. It doesn’t, it’s very sticky to the floor!I also have hardwood floors, so the knees feel it in some poses (I’m 30). But overall it’s okay! I also never had a problem with a smell like some other reviews. It did have a “new” smell but it went away faster than the mat broke in.Something else to mention is the print on it is still very intact. There isn’t any chipping or wear it still looks the way it did when I first got it! So I would say this is extremely well made.I give this 4/5 stars because although it “broke in” it’s still slippery, and on my weaker days I still slide around on it. I love it and it’s beautiful and I still use it every day!

Way too thin & not enough cork
I was expecting a mat that would have a decent amount of cork, but this mat is so thin that you can’t even place your knee on it without hurting… it provides zero cushion.

Sieht sehr schön aus und hat einen guten Grip. Die schwarze Farbe hat sich bis jetzt auch wie neu gehalten, hoffentlich bleibt das auch eine Weile so, bei dem Preis.. 🙂

I used to always buy the longer, wider, cushier mats, but after many years of practice, I was ready to upgrade and decided to treat myself to my idea of a “professional” mat.*It is thin*Like much thinner than any other mats I owed. I can definitely feel the ground more, which in this case is amazing as I gained stability and grounding. I can say that it’s harder on the knees, but I was ready for it and didn’t feel any pain practising. But if you have joint pain, this one might not be for you. It rolls super small and compact, but the material still makes it heavy (so maybe not for travelling on a plane for instance) and doesn’t move or lift from the ground.*It is short*And by short I mean regular sized. I’m 5’10, and I always felt I needed a longer mat. But for the last year or so, as I was getting more centred on the mat, I felt I haven’t been using the last 8 inches of the one I had. I gave this one a go and felt like it was actually perfectly sized with still some room for play at the top and bottom.*It doesn’t have alignment marks*But the symmetrical design is quite enough to guide in all poses and to accurately find the middle, which I still enjoy.*It doesn’t slip*Which it what I mostly wanted from a mat. I also wanted the feeling and grips of a nice mate and non plastic-y material, and I’m absolutely pleased with the fell. Also perk of the prints at the top and bottom makes it extra grippy without being sticky.*It does have a smell*But quite faint, and I recon that after a few uses it will go away. I mean, it’s that whole “new car smell” thing, and I enjoyed the smell of my shiny new playground.*It’s beautiful*That in itself makes me want to take it out and roll on it, and brings me joy in my practice.Bottom line : I love it, and it was less pricey than other options.

I have received so many compliments already, also I like that I don’t slip anymore. The mat is beautiful and has some weight to it what just shows the quality of the product! Couldn’t be happier. Thank you
