Versatile and comfortable.
More versatile than I imagined. It is great for meditation. But….I recently had surgery and I use this as a surrogate table on my round chair. We call it the nest. The buckwheat husk can be formed to hold a bowl or your phone (so you don’t lose it). The outer cover can be taken off and thrown in the washer and dryer. It always feels a little cool to the touch, which is interesting. The outer material is a canvas of sort with a zipper and a handle. It is made very well using quality material. Now for the purpose it was made for……using it’s for meditation it is solid and stays in position, so you can stay in position longer. It is very comfortable and forms to your body.

I loved this cushion. I practice zazen and I needed a quality cushion, and I got it! Fair price. Heavier than you’d think, because it is awesome build quality. sturdy seams. Nice color. This is an excellent addition to anyone’s practice or meditation space. I would highly recommend it to anyone who can meditate using a seated lotus-style posture. I’m definitely going to look into other products by this brand. They clearly are invested in providing high quality products. Got this on sale: great bang for your buck!

The best zafu!
This is a wonderful zafu. Very comfortable, and with 4.5″ thicker than the usual 3″ or 3.5″ ones. Since I am relatively tall with long legs, I really enjoy the comfort of this thicker cushion. I bought the 13″ x 13″ version. There’s also al larger one (16″), but the 13″ is the normal zafu size and just fine for me. I really like the buckwheat filling, as it is both comfortable and stable. It won’t sink in after a while, so you can arrange the pillow in a way that it supports you sitting upright. The only (slight) drawback is that the buckwheat has a specific smell. I donÄt mind it and actually associate it positively with my mediation, but I am mentioning it as there may be people who dislike it or may react allergically. All in all, the best zafu!

Perfect meditation cushion
I’m very happy with this cushion. I’m a 5’10”, 185lb man, and it is a very comfortable size for me (I bought the bigger size). It makes sitting much more comfortable, and especially reduces stress on my knees (which I didn’t realize I was bending in a weird way when sitting on the floor). The fabric feels very high quality. I haven’t washed it yet, but it’s nice that the outer covering comes off easily so that you can. The price was also very good: I saw other cushions going for easily 2-3x the price, but I’m glad I went with this instead.I saw some reviews complain that the cushion would be more comfortable if it were angled forward rather than flat, but this is easily achieved by just pushing the bag into the shape you want before you sit on it.

Nice floor pillow more than meditation pillow
This is a nice quality pillow. I haven’t tried washing the removable cover yet but it seems sturdy.I am petite so the size works for me but I am not sure it would be very comfortable for a tall person.I use the pillow mainly to meditate. The noise made by the filling as you change or correct your posture can be distracting at first. I also do not find this pillow very comfortable for extended period of time. I resolved the issue by folding my yoga towel on the top of it.The kids love to use it to sit on the floor while playing games or watching TV. The handle makes it convenient to bring from one place to the next. The flat surface also allows to put a tray on the top of it for snacks or board games while sitting on the floor.Overall a good floor pillow for the price as long as you are not too tall and meditation is not your main use.

stable and comfy
I’ve been doing standing meditation, off and on, for 18 years (I know, still a noob. But I have had time to discover some preferences).When sitting, I always used a stool that put my hips just above my knees. It works well for me.Sitting on the ground has always been difficult, and regular pillows become a distraction after a few minutes.But This Zafu is the right tool for the job!It positions me with the perfect angle in my pelvis for balance and comfort.As soon as I sit down, the buckwheat slides into position and then packs down. It doesn’t shift as I breathe. No distractions, excellent comfort.And the product is well made. It will be part of my daily practice for a good long time.

Had for almost 5 years and still comfortable
I purchased this back in 2018 to be able to sit on the hardwood floor comfortably while playing with my ferrets. I am able to sit down on this for about 2 hours without discomfort. I like how you can remove the buckwheat shells from inside and wash the outer cover. The ferrets also like to get on it and have as of yet to destroy it (which says something as they can be quite destructive). I also use this for meditation as well. Definitely recommend it

Best value meditation cushion
This is a great meditation cushion, especially for the price. Construction is solid and I love the durable but soft feel to the canvas shell. You have quick zipper access to the buckwheat hulls so you can customize the fill to your preference. I closely compared this to a competitors lower priced cushion I just previously purchased and the quality is so much better! Don’t let a $5 difference steer you away from this brand, it apparently made all the difference in quality of construction and materials used. I’m a huge fan of peace yoga products now.
