The pedals are 4" wide. Someone with large feet would have trouble getting their feet into the pedals, although the straps around the pedals are adjustable. I got it to use as a hand cycle, but the pedals are designed to be pushed with feet, not held with hands. The pedals are rectangular hard plastic and are not comfortable to grip. I am a small woman, but, at 7.5 inches apart, the pedals/grips are not shoulder width apart even on me. Nevertheless I will keep it, as I got it to rehabilitate a shoulder and I can feel that it does give my shoulders a work out. I am experimenting with wrapping the pedals to make them more comfortable to grip as well as looking for a rubber mat to put the exerciser on so it doesn't slip.

Great, we love it!
This litle exerciser is really nice! It’s compact, lightweight and can be adjusted making it easier or harder to pedal. No assembly or batteries required. Just go at your own speed or use it for upper body movements by putting it on a countertop and using your arms. As seniors it was suggested by a PT. It even came with a thin mat to put under it so it doesn’t move while we’re watching TV and getting some movement to our body. Did i mention it’s reasonably priced and takes up very little room as well as being portable.

Very sturdy with a seamless ride.
Did NOT come with a floor mat. I read that others say it came with one. It came with a strap to attach to a 4 legged chair etc To keep it from moving. I don’t have a chair so it serves no purpose for me. I would have preferred a mat. Nonetheless this thing works great and adjusting the tension is easy. You can sit on your bed and pedal and it’s so comfortable. The ride is seamless. There’s nothing unstable about the pedaling at all. I did have mine on carpet though. I tried it on tile that looks like wood and it was sturdy. Very small and compact. Get this. I’m serious. Get it.

Perfect for your workout without the hype! Quite.
Love it! No hype, no electricity or programming or remote needed! Just what I wanted. Excersizes while I’m working without all the insanity of the other stuff .

Risk of serious burns!
Bars get extremely hot within a few minutes of using, there is no barrier or cover to prevent you from touching it. at 15-30 minutes of typical use, the bars are hot enough to cause damage to skin if touched. The bars take a very long time too cool off. In order to keep the bars cool and reduce risk of burns. You will need to use for 2-3 minutes at a time with about 15-30minutes in between. In the manual it states that it can be warm to the touch, not scorching hot.The resistance barely changes no matter how hard i try to turn the bolt. It moves too fast for me to benefit from it.The design folds up for ease of storage but that feature causes the frame to wobble a bit. While using this, its very unstable and not smooth at all. You have to position yourself perfectly and use the perfect amount of preassure to make it smooth.Id spend a few more dollars and get something better.

Works great! Easy-to-use
I like that this product came put together and you can fold it to store if needed. The foot straps are adjustable you need a Phillips screwdriver to adjust if needed. There are 4 settings to adjust the foot straps. Also it is easy to adjust the tension. Take off the plastic packing part and put the screw part in and you can adjust the tension manually, like in the old days. So easy. (See video). I’m so pleased with this and didn’t need to spend hundreds or more for a stationary bike. The price point was nice, 25.99. You can’t beat that! I love the color and you can use it for your arms and legs (not at the same time). It is sturdy and functional for my needs. Great buy! Thank you Amazon! You are top notch!
