I added this glass dusting powder set to my vanity, and it has been such a lovely upgrade to my daily routine. Beautiful Nostalgic Glass with a Too-Fluffy Puff
Pros:- Stunning Vintage Aesthetic: The pink glass is a very close match to Depression-era glass. It looks lovely on a vanity and feels solid and well-made.- Strong Nostalgia Factor: This reminds me so much of a similar one my grandma had. It’s a beautiful piece if you’re looking for that classic, heirloom feel.- High-Quality Container: The glass itself is heavy and durable, definitely an upgrade from plastic containers.Cons:- Impractical Powder Puff: While the velour is soft, the puff is just too fluffy to be functional. It doesn’t do much good for actually applying powder.Final Thoughts:I’m giving this four stars primarily for the container. The nostalgia of the pink glass is wonderful, and it’s a high-quality piece of decor. Just plan on swapping out the puff for a more functional one if you actually intend to use it for dusting powder.

Powder puff box with an old-fashioned vibe
This vintage-style dusting powder container takes me right back to spending time at Grandma’s house when I was a little girl. Oh, the memories this brings to my mind! It looks very similar to one she had sitting on her vanity. (Anyone remember when vanity tables were a thing?)This container has a nice weight to it, not too heavy and not to lightweight. (Goldilocks would approve.) It looks very nice on my bathroom counter. (Alas, I don’t own a vanity table like Grandma’s; this heart-shaped, old-fashioned pink, cut glass container would look so nice with a vanity table under it!) Even though it doesn’t look especially large, it holds a surprising amount of powder. The powder puff inside is soft and fluffy, and it holds so much loose powder that you’ll probably want to shake some of it off before applying a light layer to your skin.I think this would be a fun gift for just about any lady in your life, whether young or just young at heart. If she doesn’t want to use it for powder, it will happily hold other things, like small trinkets. It’s very inexpensive, too!

I’m a bit ambivalent about this thing. Got it on a whim, and it’s OK. If you are the kind of person who sees a crystal heart and says, I have to have it, you will probably like this. But it’s just kind of old-fashioned or something. Not quite as whimsical as I was hoping. But it does what it needs to do.

Very pretty pink glass heart shaped box – a nice way to keep small items organized
This is perfect for what it is. I don’t intend to use it for dusting powder (does anyone still do that?), but think it will be really pretty sitting on my vanity to be used to temporarily hold jewelry or other small items. It’s made of a very nice pink glass that is fairly heavy weight and should last forever. I like to keep my things organized but also like to have a nice aesthetic, so this pink heart glass box fits the look I want perfectly.

I’ve always wanted something like this on my vanity. It’s so beautiful and feminine. You get the glass heart shaped box with a heart shaped glass lid and the powder puff. Great for those who make their own powder- which I plan to do- but it could even be used as a keepsake or jewelry box. I got the pink because I feel it has a lovely vintage look. This is great quality but it’s fragile so be careful. Great value. I love it so much.
