I tend to run to insomnia thanks to fibromyalgia. A good soaking in the tub near bedtime exposes me to the magnesium and helps me with my sleeping. There is no odor or anything distracting and the magnesium (Epsom salts) dissolves very quickly in the water.

I’ve gone through a good portion of this bag using it for baths after workouts, and it’s been exactly what I hoped for: clean, straightforward Epsom salt that dissolves well and doesn’t leave gritty residue sitting at the bottom. The granule size feels “medium” in a practical sense—fast enough to dissolve with warm water, but not so powdery that it turns into a dusty mess when you pour it. I haven’t noticed any odd scent or discoloration, and it hasn’t irritated my skin, which matters because some additives can be sneaky in bath products. The packaging is the one weak point: a bulk bag is efficient, but it’s not always the easiest to reseal neatly, so I ended up transferring some into a container for everyday use. Quantity-wise, 5 pounds lasts a while even with regular baths, and it’s useful for foot soaks too. Overall, it’s best for routine recovery baths and long-term household use if you want a no-frills, reliable Epsom salt in a bulk format. This item is a good value for the money.

Large, Fast-Dissolving Epsom Salt That Soothes and Refreshes
I used this Epsom salt as a foot soak because I do foot soaks pretty often, usually because of ongoing toenail surgery. I am happy to find this because it’s a fairly big bag (6lb) and I expect it to last for several months for my use case.The salt pieces were large and the texture was coarse. Once I did the foot soak, the salt crystals melted fast.What impressed me most was how big these salt crystals are. Compared to other brands I tried, these are quite large, which meant I could use less salt between sessions. I also recently learned that magnesium helps with muscle relaxing and good for stress relief. My feet felt soft and refreshed, so I can speak for that.It fits well into my ongoing foot self-care and it is versatile enough to work in a full bath, which I plan in the future.I would recommend it to anyone who wants to take a soothing and relaxing bath or wants to do a foot soak. This bag will last a long time and I am happy with this Epsom salt.
