Soaking
It’s what I use in my nightly bath.
Marc Nuss –
first of all, where are all of the “9 global reviews”? i only see one…
…and the one review i do see is a 5 star and it only states “used for nightly bath”…which, tells me nothing about the product itself. 1. i personally went a little crazy purchasing Dr. Teal products in 2023 when my neuropathy pain began to be unbearable and i thought the MgS04 “Epsom salt” component would add a little to just the warm water soaks, and the pleasant odor of the products, for which i purchased many is just a bonus. 2. what i soon came to realize is the oils used in all of the products, from bath salts, bath liquid and body washes created a film on my bath tub that needed to be cleaned after each and every bath and would create a build up if not. the oils also created a film on my skin which was not just a good, healthy, moisturizing, rejuvenating coating that would soak in like a cream or lotion, but actually started to make my skin break out in to a raised, red, bumpy rash, and i am not one to react to much. 3. i really like the wonderful scents of the Dr. Teal products, but must use them on a limited basis. 4. as a control, i’ve started using plain Epsom salt bath salts without scents or oils in them and i do not get the rash and Zero film on my tub that requires cleaning each and every time. i keep my tub clean, but i don’t feel like doing a full on scrub after every single use since i am the only one using the tub and i don’t bath after i’ve been outdoors at all without showering first. 5. i’m slowly coming toward the end of my supply of Dr. Teal products and my experience with them has led me to be really cautious about what salts i put in the tub for my therapeutic soaks as well as any body washes i may choose for showering. 6. i love the scents for sure, and, some of the products worked better than others for me…but i hate the extra deep cleaning it causes me, after each use because i have to clean my bath pillow as well (every time). the rash disappeared once i started limiting the use of Dr. Teals bath salts to just occasionally. 7. the price has gone through the roof, and there are many other products on the market, including in my local grocery market for way less $$. this is why i gave the rating i did, and, may or may not purchase Dr. Teal products in the future.
