Great under Pants! Keep you Warm!! Comfortable!!!
I purchased these Duofold thermal pants as a replacement for my old pair that is probably more than 10 years old (some other brand) because they were starting to get lots of “pills” on them (small balls of lint) and the elastic/stretchiness was wearing out. I must say these Duofold thermal leggings are quite an improvement.The material is soft, and the overall shape of the garment fits better (especially in the waist). These are high-waisted pants, but they do not constrain you. The extra height in the waistband helps protect your abdomen area when outside in the cold weather. Overall I am very happy with these leggings and have ordered them in two more colors! Thank you for a great thermal pant!! 🙂

Warm and cozy thermal pants
If your looking for a thermal pant to keep you warm and cozy get these. The fabric quality is soft with No shrinkage. They do come up above your belly button. I love how they have nice functionality to them for running or just chilling with some Coco. They are flattering as they don’t stretch out and they are not to restrictive. Great value for your money.

I typically wear a size 10 or Large bottoms, but according to Duofold size chart measurements, I am between sizes L and XL. I never have worn XL in anything before, but I purchased both sizes to try.New out-of-the-box the L fit like ballet tights, whereas the XL was fitted but not constricting. I decided XL was the better fit. But wearing them around the house over the next day(s), the XL stretched out baggy too big. I washed and dried them and they “tightened” back up, but wearing them they stretched out too big again, I had to keep pulling them back up. They could only be okay for pajama pants at this point.So I returned to the size L, and with the stretchiness of the material and loosening as wearing them, these are the right size for me. Washing and drying doesn’t really shrink them much at all, though each cycle will retighten the fabric, which loosens somewhat again with wear. I do have thick legs, and the ankles are NOT too tight. Yes, baggy knees,but overall still a really nice fitted base layer pant, esp for the price. They are indeed warm if worn as intended: fitted properly (like tights) and worn as a base layer under other pants. I like these very much for that purpose, I also like the Duofold Varitherm poly leggings (lots better than Cuddl Duds) & Duofold wool/cotton leggings, in both of which Large fit slightly looser than in these mid-weight poly/cotton ones.Measurements of size Large Duofold black cotton/poly pant:width above crotch V: 17-18″ new, 17-18″ washed (&-dried);length: 42.75″ new, 40.25″ washed;Measurements of size Medium Duofold black cotton/poly top:width under armpits: 17″ new, 16.25″ washed (&-dried);length: 25″ new, 23.75″ washed;arm length from shoulder seam: 23″ new, 22.5″ washed;Yes, material pills a bit (not much) after a few washes, but seems like almost all my new purchased clothing lately does, so oh well, not a deal breaker for me.

Comfortable and no pilling!
I can wear these all day long during the New England winter. They keep me warm outdoors and I don’t roast when indoors.I like that they don’t hug me and don’t fit like leggings.Most important is that I’ve had them for 3 months and many washes without any pilling insight! Note: I don’t put them in the dryer by choice. When they accidentally went in the dryer they came out fine.

Grey color is off
So i received these today. In the hottest month of the year 😂 on time, well packaged, no problem with shipping. Upon opening amazon shipping bag i diacovered packaging labeled Champion…so TIL that Duofold is now owned by Champion. I have never had a problem with the quality of either brand so this is not discouraging. Opening the packages, i found 2 pair of light grey heather bottoms and one black top. I was certain that the right color, but i really thought i’d ordered a black or a dark charcoal grey color. I checked my orders and i had ordered dark granite heather (which looks nearly black) and the ones that arrived are the lighter grey heather of your typical school athletic sweats. So I’m not sure. The label does say granite heather. I mean, these will work, but if you expect granite heather to be charcoal colored, you may be disappointed. They do fit fine (size M for my 5’1″ 135lb bod) and the quality seems solid. They feel quite nice right out of the box.

Pretty warm, but I wore them indoors
Ran somewhat small for me, but largely due to my own preference and not bothersome at all. Pretty warm, but I wore them indoors. Very soft, I really enjoyed lounging in these. The remainder of this comment will be description of fit. Hope to this helps others more than the sizing chart!For your comparison, I am 5’5″ and about 155 pounds, an hourglass-ish shape with a little belly pooch, thicker thighs, chicken legs. I usually purchase clothing items like this in a medium because there is some give and I enjoy that look (ie think running tights). These had considerably less give than I was expecting. Waistband felt a bit snug on me, but that’s to be expected with the little belly. Thighs felt surprisingly ok. Tightest part was definitely the calves, which I found unusual. If you are similar body stats/shape as me but with larger calves the M would probably be uncomfortably tight in the leg.

Nice! These are a tiny bit tight on me as I’m a size 10/12ish and got a Medium, not much stretch. I could have gone for a large but I like how fitted these are for under skinny jeans. I wear them to bed on the cold nights instead of pjs as well but since they’re off white they’re see through so I can’t wear them around anyone without seeing my gitch. I’m not big on going outside in cold and have never really owned a pair of long johns prior so I can’t compare them to anything other than no long johns lol, and they’re certainly much warmer than going without that layer. They’re soft and comfortable, like thick leggings. Tagless too which is important to me. They arrived quickly and they wash well, as long as they’re kept with like colours – mine did get stained from my jeans in areas but that’s not an issue for me cause they’re an undergarment anyway. I’d definitely get these again and need to order the top asap, cause now my torso is cooooold in comparison!
