Close fitting and easy to remove.Perfect for this crazy weather and to be able reduce heating bills! Also, not have to sleep under a pile of blankets on a cold NW heavy wind night.

Top much too small
The pants fit with no problem, but the top barely covered my breasts. This is not an extra large. Two other sets I ordered fit perfectly. Returned.

Blue collar worker winter must have…
As a blue collar worker in the oil field these sets are non-negotiable during the winter season. Despite what folks may think since south Texas may not snow, if you don’t believe me when I say it gets so cold your hands go numb within minutes. Shoot. I’m ngl I’m super picky when it comes to thermal layers since I’ve gotten under armor and other names brands in the past that don’t get me wrong are warm but too thick. Since in south Texas the wind chill combined with the relative humidity is why it’s imo miserable during the winter esp for anyone who works in an outside type environment like postal workers, city services, and the list goes on. This is for you. Since majority of us blue collar workers have a uniform we wear layering thermals can be tricky especially if they’re too thick then it’s weird long day, no other to put it. But these are perfect since they’re thin don’t get me wrong but that’s what makes them perfect for wearing underneath your work uniform. Looks are deceiving and this thermal set keeps you warm and if you go inside the thickness allow for breathing where you don’t get overheated and end up taking them off to forget end up back outside miserable in the cold this winter season. I have a bad habit of doing exactly that wearing crazy layers for a 12 hour shift as well all know afternoon regardless of temperature warms up but that’s why I’m telling you these are game changers since you won’t have to worry about de-laying mid day as these keep you warm but also won’t make you sweat either. So if you are looking for something that will work under work uniforms this winter season for yourself or anyone else – for price and the fact you get top+bottoms just add it to cart. Since a lot of department stores for whatever reason nowadays sell them individually and then usually only have the right size in one or other making it hassle so just forget the hassle and order this set. It fits true to size and I’m 5’1 130 ordered a size small.

Top too small
The pants fit.The size XL top, not so much. It’s more of a XS/SThe pants kept me warm doing chores though, so if you get a set, just know you might want to give the top away.

Polar Extreme Womens Brushed Base layer 2 pc set
I gave these long johns a 4 start because the bottom and the top don’t fit the same way. The pants fit me perfectly but the top was very tight around arms. While these are comfortable to wear, I didn’t feel they offered a lot of warmth on a very cold day I chose to use them. Botth the top and pants come with a thin fleece lining. The fabric is comfortable aside from the arms. Because the pants fit well, I cant recommend that you get a larger size, maybe my arms are just weird. I don’t know. Anyway, I’m sure with the proper layering with tights, sweater or coat will improve one’s warmth. I will continue you trying different clothes to see what works best. I found the pants were great under jeans.

A nice thin underlayer
These women’s thermals provide a good under layer when it is cold. Because they are made from polyester, they won’t keep sweat near your body and make you colder (like what happens with cotton). The fabric is smooth but I wouldn’t call it soft like fleece (I’m not sure what brushed fabric means). The garments seem to be well made. The pants have a 1-inch elastic waistband. I ordered a medium and the shirt seems a little small for what I would consider a medium, but the sleeves seem long. Overall, I recommend these women’s thermals.

Comfortable, Warm and Flexable
Living in the Pacific Northwest, where the weather has been particularly EXTRA damp and cold this winter, these thermals have become my daily go-to’s. From early mornings feeding my horses -to- temps dropping into the single digits by 5pm night feedings, they’ve truly been effective in keeping me warm and comfortable. I’m 5’5”, 125 lbs and size small fits perfectly on me.One thing I really appreciate is that the waistband isn’t too high, so they don’t feel restrictive or awkward under my jeans. Plus, the legs actually stay put – as I’ve had issues with other thermals hiking up my ankles/calves under my pants, but these don’t slip or slide, which makes them perfect for extra active days.They’re incredibly soft and flexible too—not stiff or scratchy, almost feels like I’m not wearing them at all. Smooth and easy to layer over. Very pleased with the quality of these thermals.

Inconsistent sizing
I ordered this set in XL like all my base layers. The pants fit ok, actually quite long and roomy, the waist comes up above my natural waist when the crotch is pulled up/ not sagging (my torso length is average, I am 5’5″) and the legs come to my lower ankle, and even though I’m thick around the middle these were larger than expected. But the top fits like a Medium at best, I could barely get it on; I gave it away to a family member. The fabric is thicker and bulkier than I prefer for base layers, with very little to no stretch for comfortable movement. Especially for pants I find these too thick for a base layer, the fabric bunches and shows through my jeans at the knees. It might be fine under looser fitting outer pants. Overall this set was a loser for me, sorry. Glad to hear some folks like them.
