No idea how to use it without lots of pain
Maybe I would get something out of using this mat if it came with a set of useful instructions. There IS a long, tiny-type informational sheet that appears to have been translated from another language as parts of it are nearly incomprehensible… but I wouldn’t call it ‘useful’. It warns that menstruating women shouldn’t attempt to use this mat, and states that walking on it is good for people afflicted with, “adiposity, hypersensitivity, inappetence, eczema, ermatitis, etc.,” because it, “has better effect in improving the microcirculation of the second heart of human body (foot), has better irritative effect to the end of nerves, has better propitiatory effect to the spirit.”The whole thing is written this way. And despite how long it is, there is zero info on how to actually use the mat except for mentioning that you can put on thick socks before walking on it and build up to just using your bare feet (and given how painful it is with a doubled-over fleece blanket covering it, I don’t want to imagine walking on it barefoot). But if you were hoping to find out what the feet-shaped section is supposed to do, or how you’ll know that the mat is working? Nope, there’s nothing. Up close it doesn’t even look like other acupressure mats that I’ve seen advertised, as those all have discs with short spiked ‘teeth’, and this has a lot of spaced-out plastic lumps in different sizes and shapes. All the parts are securely attached and the mat is easy to fold/roll up and is very lightweight, but that’s the best that I can say about it.The only pain relief this thing has brought me is when I stepped off it and all the muscles I had unconsciously tightened in response to the rock-hard lumps digging into my poor feet were finally able to relax. If that’s how this mat is supposed to work, then it works incredibly well. Personally, I don’t find all the initial pain worth a gain of just no longer feeling that pain.

I can’t. It hurts!
I just can not bring myself to use this. I tried but I’d rather accidentally step on a LEGO haha. With socks, padding, towels whatever, no go for my feet. I have plantar fasciitis and I love when the physical therapist kneads my feet so I was kidney of hoping to enjoy this but It is literally just hard plastic stuck to a mat. Cool concept? And definitely a way to bring life to a party I think, but not for me!
