I used to box, back when I was 19. My son is on spectrum of autism and wanted to do some boxing. I wanted him to use a rope, but being that he is autistic, that was not possible. One of the coaches where he took boxing, suggested this one, that she got for her daughter and even let us try theirs. It is amazing. I used to use real rope for hours back in a day and decided to give this one a try. I loved it. It has the same idea of a rope, without hitting yourself and entangling in the rope. I still prefer a real thing for myself from time to time, but for our son, it is a God sent. He used it before each practice and even at home. Since we have a low ceiling garage, I tried it, and got second one to have at home and used it when I could. Love this product.

Just What I Wanted
I am an older woman who participated in triathlons for years. I had a small sciatica experience that stopped me for some activities. I needed something with less “pounding”. For instance I walk or jog instead of run. I gave my real jump rope away and purchased this rope. I have not turned back. It has worked wonderfully…I feel like I am jumping rope. The ball system turns smoothly. It is weighted well. The balls are quality. Some reviewers might be looking for more; however, this product works very well for my needs. I plan to let my young granddaughter use them just to let her experience the feel of jumping rope. I am very please with my purchase.

Great for Small Spaces and Quick Workouts
The APLUGTEK ropeless jump rope is really convenient, especially if you’re working out indoors or in a small space. It gives you the feel of jumping rope without worrying about hitting the ceiling or furniture. It’s lightweight, easy to use, and the handles are comfortable to hold. I love that I can get in a quick cardio workout without needing much room. The only thing is that it takes a little getting used to at first, but once you get the rhythm, it’s a great addition to your routine.

Do not recommend. IT broke the first week I started using it.
The ball flew off (It broke) with minor usage. I am returning it. They refunded and sent me a new one. So far so good. Id defintiely feels and seems better than the 1st one they sent.

Great product without an actual rope

I couldn’t adjust it
It was a recommended item to me, so I really didn’t do any research on other options. It does have a nice weight to it but it’s a little too long for me but I’m not finding a way to adjust it. No instructions came with it and when I look online, it says it’s adjustable. It’s a bare minimum item; I wanted something a bit more.

Works great for MBF
I have nothing to compare this too but it seems like it functions as it should. I have done the MBF BeachBody Program using these with no issues. Using a ropeless jump rope takes a little practice, i’ve whacked the wall a few times, whacked myself a few times but the balls didn’t cause any damage to me or the walls. I like the grip and so far they haven’t worn down using everyday for 3 weeks.Good cheaper option if you don’t want to buy the BB branded rope. You can do the program without it but i’ve personally felt like using these has improved my wrist/forearm strength and reduced my wrist/forearm fatigue when lifting weights.

Seems silly, but it is a useful thing
A jump rope without the rope? How is that even a thing? But, I have to say these have become a useful part of my fitness regimen. I use them regularly for warm-ups or quick bursts of cardio in my office, and I don’t have to worry about hitting things or tripping over the rope because I’m not coordinated enough.I could just jump in place, but there is actually some benefit to the weighted swing – it helps set a rhythm and brings the arms into play just enough.

This jump rope is a well-made product that will give you an inexpensive option for your cardio workouts. Easy to use anywhere including in your home and portable for road trips. It feels like it might even be a good first step to attaining real skip rope proficiency for non-skippers like me!
