I have used steps like this at the gym and they are great for exercise. However, when I got my new bed, it’s extremely high and as I was looking for the step that you can buy to put beside your bed. I thought if I got out of the bed in a hurry with a cramp in my leg, I could easily miss the step and fall and hurt myself. I began looking for a deeper and wider step when I saw this. So it’s multipurpose. It’s perfect for stepping off of my bed and I can use it for exercise. Also, the color coordinates with my area rugs

arrived on time. My only disappointment is that if you do not use all the risers, you cannot store the unused set of risers in the bottom of the step. From the description, I would have thought you could. Otherwise, product is as described and well made.

Works perfect for my needs
I use to use one of these years ago for exercising…..I bought this one because I am handicap and for some strange reason the bed makers want to make beds soooo tall that you need a step or ladder to get into bed…..this works perfect…..I can put my Walker over it and step on and with its lenght and width I can turn around safely and lift my Walker up and place it the other direction and sit comfortably on the bed…..when I get up in the morning I just slide it under the bed……definitely not what it’s meant for but it works perfect…..
