It’s a very aesthetic box, so if you’re looking for bento boxes, you’re likely someone who wants something that is more pleasing to the eyes than simple Tupperware. This lunch box hits that mark and is relatively sturdy. I don’t know if I’d want to microwave this plastic by itself in that remark, so I’d recommend keeping this as a cold lunch option. It’s also a relatively modest size, so if you enjoy a larger lunch, try looking into bigger square-style bentos.

A lovely bento box
This lunch box is a good size for what I needed. It’s deeper than others I’ve had, which I like, but still nice and compact. I love the color and how the lid looks like wood. Each container has its own lid to prevent leaks, which I appreciated. It’s very convenient to prep my lunch in here the night before, tuck it into the fridge, and then put it in my bag to go to work. Pulling it out for mealtime I can use the little sauce container for salad dressing or nuts etc.My only disappointment is that while mine has a fork and spoon, it did not come with a knife, though it has space for one there. Now I need to find one that’s the right size, so that’s a little disappointing, but otherwise I’m very happy with it.

I use these every day I’m in the office! Liked the first one I bought so much that I came back when they were on sale and scored several more in different colors. Spacious enough to hold a nice serving of pasta, salad, or other leftovers, plus the cutlery feels nice to use and the upper layer will keep a snack or dessert separate. Cute, and easy to fit into a bag to take on the bus. Note that they’re leak resistant though not vacuum sealed, so I wouldn’t trust them with a very liquidy soup.
