This Really Works!
I love my elliptical. It was easy to set up. It came with the necessary tools. I was missing the batteries but thankfully I had some on hand. I’ve used it regularly since I received it. It will become part of my rehabilitation process.

Missing parts
I bought it used assuming that all the parts were there but missing the special bolt that holds peddle strap to the foot peddle that you put your foot through to hold your foot in place while you’re peddling, so I have to use it without the pedal strap!!!

Works and does great

Not worth money
Does not exercise legs. Pedals rotate but not enough to to really bend knees.

Super convenient exercise machine, burn excess energy, quiet, lots of settings, great for fidgeters
I am a fan of these little under the desk bikes/elliptical machines. It’s such a good way to burn off excess energy while you’re reading or watching TV. But, and I appeal to the sellers, please make sure there are actual instructions with the item! The only reason I knew what to do (aside from it being semi-intuitive) is that I’ve had one of these before. It’s really not that difficult to put together. There are left/right pedal indicators, but they’re small and easy to miss with the texture of the pedals. There are two small tubes on the bottoms of the pedals that fit through the arms of the machine; you just flip it over, line up the holes and screw the pedals on (it comes with a Phillips head screwdriver, which I appreciate). There are elastic, Velcro bands that fit around the pedals, but they’re not really held on by anything, so I end up flinging them off about a minute and a half into using this. The machine has a wide set of options (speed, direction, different “modes”) and comes with a remote. It does feel like you’re not totally the one in control since the machine is doing some of the pedaling for you. But, as a fidgety person, this is great for me. I recently had knee surgery and my recovery is going so-so, but this is something easy I can do to keep my knee limbered up and that won’t let me push myself too hard, which has been the issue with my recovery. It is varied enough that I can crank up the resistance to where I can feel it in my legs, and my Mom (who will be 70 in just over a month) can come over and she can do the most leisurely mode and it doesn’t bother her at all. There is a setting for every person with this. It’s heavy, and sturdy. It’s quiet, and is easy to slip under the couch or bed or wherever you use it.This is a great option to a full sized machine, especially if you’re supplementing it with regular exercise. I really like it because I can start to do it, get into whatever else I’m doing and totally forget that my legs are in motion. Well worth the money, and hopefully I’ll get a decent amount of use out of this.
