Awesome gallon jug bought twice once for one daughter and my younger daughter decided she wanted one as well after seeing her sisters. Good quality, nice thick/hard plastic so it’s durable, haven’t leaked.

I love this bottle. I use it everyday. It’s the exact size shown, they are hard, higher quality plastic with not only a handle but another way to grip it (only if it isn’t filled all the way!) The appearance is nice but I marked it down to 4 starts because the pink and purple aren’t as vibrant as the picture shows but I still love it.

Finally a water jug that can keep up with me!
I drink a lot of water. A LOT of water. I have owned so many water bottles over the years, but they’ve been on the smaller (ie, normal) size, and just the constant refilling made it hard to keep track of just how much I actually drank. I always knew I drank a lot, but was it really enough? Well, yeah.. after getting this jug I can unequivocally say I drink enough water!The first thing I like about this is the weight. Because it’s a lightweight plastic, you are really only carrying the weight of your water, and so it’s not as bad as it would seem to tote it around. Plus, the two handle options (one handle, one strap) make it very easy to carry. I actually really love the placement of the handle itself, as it sits right in front of the spout when tightened, and makes it very easy to lift and sip. I have had no leaks either, which is a good sign the seal is strong (I take this everywhere with me!).Then the little line measurement on the side with times is quite clever, and actually pretty encouraging. I am usually ahead of the game, but on slower days it’s nice to see where I’m at, and makes it very easy to catch right back up. I actually drink about a bottle and a half of these on average, some days only a full bottle, some days over two bottles! All depending on activity level, heat, and just my general thirst for the day. I basically only drink water (I am one of the lucky ones who just loves it!) and so it’s easy to get my intake in. But even I have off days, and so this little feature is nice to help keep me on track.And because I love water so much, I am very attuned to taste. Some water tastes better than others, and some bottles leech taste into the water. Especially plastic and metal bottles. Glass is the king when it comes to flavorless water, but it weights a ton and breaks easily. When I first got this bottle I washed it thoroughly with dish soap and water. It took a bit to get the soap scent fully out, many rinses because you can’t use a sponge. I basically just shook it full of warm water and dumped it – over and over again until I was happy with the result. The bottle does not leech any scent or flavor into the water, which is a huge deal for me. It’s a nice thick and sturdy plastic with a soft (almost rubberized) feel to it on the outside, so it both tastes good and feels good in your hands.The only real issue I find is the straw. It’s normally comfortable with good flow, but sometimes the flow is slightly blocked after sealing it up. It’s an easy fix – unscrew and readjust – but a little annoying. Not annoying enough for me to dock a star, but enough to mention. The way the straw pops out and locks is another nice feature – especially the little locking clip that snaps on after the straw is closed.It’s just a really well-made, well-thought-out, bottle that comes in a bunch of cute colors to boot. I am smitten.

Keeps me on track with my water every day
I absolutely love this gallon water jug. The time markers and little reminders printed on the bottle are not only helpful for keeping me on track throughout the day, but they’re motivating too.I’m a big water person…my kids think it’s hilarious because my answer to almost everything is “you probably need more water.” Headache? Drink water. Itchy? Drink water. Feeling off? Probably dehydrated! I’m always telling everyone to drink more water, so I try to practice what I preach.The problem is that sometimes I get busy and think, “I’ll drink some in a minute,” and before you know it, it’s almost bedtime and my water bottle isn’t nearly empty enough. Then it’s too late unless I want to be up all night running to the bathroom. The time markers on this jug really help prevent that by showing where I should be throughout the day. I can see that if I’m a couple hours behind I can’t wait and I have to do it now or I’m not going to get caught up.The plastic is BPA-free and transparent so you can easily see the water level, which is exactly what you want for something like this. I’m definitely not going to carry around a glass gallon jug just so I can see through it, and you can’t see through stainless.Another big plus: no leaks, which is very important when you’re carrying around this much water. It rolled off of the passenger seat in my car and rolled around on the floor until I got to my destination and all was dry. Can you imagine the disaster if a whole gallon of water leaked onto your car floor? The flip-up lid with the straw is also great because I don’t feel like tipping up a giant gallon jug every time I want a sip. You just flip the lid open and the straw reaches all the way to the bottom so you can drink comfortably.Honestly, what more could you want? You’ve got time markings, motivating comments, a leak-proof lid with a straw, a carrying handle and a jug handle, fluid measurements on the side, and attractive colors. It really has everything you need in a daily water jug.This water bottle truly helps me stay on track with my water intake. It works exactly the way it should, and it’s an amazing bargain.Anyway, that’s all I have to say… because now I have to go pee;)
