Works well
Got this since we’re new to cold plunges and this seemed beginner friendly. Its easy to set up and has very few parts. It has a bottom hole to easily unplug when you need to drain the water. The cover stays on and we only need to replace the water every few days. The temp is surprisingly well kept and stays cold for a while. Its a thick plastic kind of like an above ground pool and so pretty durable and well .ade quality wise. We fit inside comfortably (me example Im 5’5 220 pounds) and its easy to get in and out. This was a good for newbies not wanting to spend and arm and leg yet try cold plunging to see if its right for you. We’ll eventually upgrade but we are fine with this one for now.

Sturdy starter tub that made cold plunges easy to try
We’re brand new to cold plunges, so I wanted something simple before committing to a permanent setup. This tub has been a really good starter for us. The Ease of assembly was excellent: we had it unboxed, inflated, and filled without any confusion, and the included pump and support pieces were straightforward. What impressed me most is the Quality and Durability of the wall structure once it’s full. I expected wobble, but it feels surprisingly sturdy when stepping in and out. We also found a compatible filter that fit the ports, and that made day-to-day maintenance much easier because the water stayed usable longer between full changes. For performance, Ice retention is solid if you keep the lid on consistently and place it out of direct sun. I can’t give a scientific number of hours, but in normal use it stayed cold enough for short sessions without constant re-icing. Air retention has also been good so far; we haven’t had to keep topping it off. Heat retention is not really a goal for how we’re using it, but the insulation seems decent in mixed weather. One realistic limitation: it’s still a compact round tub, so getting fully comfortable depends on your height and flexibility. You can immerse your body well, but it’s not the same experience as a rigid, oversized spa-style unit. Also, if you’re new like me, the cold part is still hard mentally, even with good equipment.Overall, this has been a dependable and practical way to start cold plunging, and it feels like a smart value before spending much more.

Nicely made but doesn’t solve all my problems – read the review
I’ve been cold plunging daily (except when I need to travel for work) for about 5 months and as horrible as it is I look forward to doing it and enjoy the health benefits from it. I’ve been using my bathtub. I keep it filled and change the water out every few days. I chill it with big blue ice blocks and frozen milk jugs. This has worked but is inconvenient if my wife wants to use the tube for regular bathing so I was looking for an economical outdoor solution and then I found this. Frankly I wanted to see if I would stick with the plunging before making an investment in a dedicated tub. This tube comes with everything you need to get started and has some advanced features such as valves in the side wall that can be hooked up to a chill water circulator. Having that would be a nice feature instead of needing to change out freezer blocks, especially in warmer weather. I’m going to admit that I didn’t completely read the description so when I got this I was a little surprised by some of the instructions. I saw that it said the sides were insulated and I envisioned the more expensive tub my son has which has sides that hold air to keep it insulated. This tub is really just thick plastic with e reflective, white layer on the inside, not the thick insulated wall I pictured. This has an inflatable collar around the top rim and comes with a pump (like a yoga ball pump) to inflate it easily. There are sleaves molded into the exterior sides into which you slip provided plastic rods to keep the sides rigid. It is pretty sturdy after it is filled. It also came with an inflatable pillow. The “lid” was kind of a disappointment because I pictured an actual lid that covers the rim of the tub but what I got is a sheet of the same plastic as the walls with an inflatable edge that floats on top of the water. The biggest disappointment for me is that the instructions say not to leave it filled. Not leaving it filled defeats the entire purpose of having it. I’m going to disregard that and see what happens. The tub and support rods each come with a handy carrying case that I doubt I will ever use. I think this is going to be a stop gap tub to see if I really continue to plunge outside over the winter and then if I am I’ll invest in a better one. In short, this is nicely made and has some nice features but not exactly what I want for long term and didn’t solve all the issues I wanted it to.

Tall, Sturdy, and Perfect for Soaking
x1000 stars.I absolutely love this ice bathtub. It’s solid, well-made, and taller than I expected… in a good way. When I sit in it, the rim comes all the way up to my ears, which makes it perfect for a full soak. I don’t have a bathtub, so this has been amazing for those weeks when I just want to relax and soak. It’s comfortable enough to actually enjoy using, not just for recovery but for general relaxation too.It also comes with great extras: a pillow, a cover, and a carrying case, which makes it feel like a complete setup right out of the box. Also! A mini air pump that lets you inflate the headrest! As someone who has tried a few different tubs like this, I can honestly say this is the best one I’ve used. Highly recommend if you’re looking for something sturdy, spacious, and well-designed.It says for ice, but I used it for hot water, and it was lovely. It is also lightweight, so once I was done I could empty it and dry it without issue.
